Plagued by the events from last June, Severus Snape starts his new position as Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Not all are glad about his new job, though. One such person is seventh-year Harry Potter who comes to Hogwarts for one specific reason, to kill Severus Snape. - I'm glad that Harry managed to escape the Dursleys and I cannot blame him for hiding from everyone, including his friends. I have a feeling that Hermione and Ron will be very hurt and a bit angry once they discover that Harry did come to Hogwarts, but didn't tell them.
I guess that house elves can see through Invisibility cloaks or perhaps Dobby simply sensed his aura? And so Harry has been taken to the Headmaster's office and is now face to face with Severus Snape. I wonder what will happen?

My explanation is that Dobby just sensed him. Dobby is a smart house elf, so it's plausible...I think. Thanks for the review. :)

- Severus is playing a very dangerous game and it is Dumbledore's fault that he is forced to. I wonder if Dumbledore's portrait will talk to Harry? Will Harry look into the Penseive at the request of Severus?
I'm not surprised that Harry attempted the curse, though it does make me rather sad. This is all Dumbledore's fault. He shouldn't have made Severus swear a Wizard's Oath to kill him.

- I'm not sure that Dumbledore was right in his assertion that Harry will develop affection toward Severus once he knows the truth. Harry might understand a bit more, but that is a long ways from liking the man... Of course, learning that he will have to die in order for Voldemort to be killable won't be easy to stomach either.

- I'm glad that Harry did give up his agenda to kill Severus and hope that the plan will work. I agree that Luna will probably realize immediately that Perseus is Harry and will be an invaluable asset. She will help Harry establish himself in his new house.

- I wonder if Hermione will figure it out? She's a clever girl, though she does have a tendency to miss the obvious at times, so it's hard to say. It's going to be difficult for Harry to get used to treating his friends like strangers, but I suppose that is simply the price he is paying for safety.

- I wonder who Alecto thinks Perseus is? Does she really think that it is smart to bother the nephew of her employer? I do have a feeling that she is going to be disappointed by her findings.
I hope that Harry can keep up the ruse long enough to keep everyone safe. It's going to be hard to keep his friends in the dark, but I know that he will do his best. At some point, though, I think that he might be forced to enlist their help.
Author's Response: Alecto thinks that it might possibly be Harry since it'd be odd that Snape suddenly had a nephew no one has ever heard of. Thanks. :)

- Poor Severus. He has given so much of his soul to this cause and it has drained him of all happiness. It's terrible that his only wish beyond the destruction of Dumbledore is death. I hope that he will find a new reason to live and soon.

- I hope that Hagrid listened carefully to what Perseus/Harry said. Perhaps Hagrid will begin to realize that there might be more to the story than he and the other professors know.
I know that Harry doesn't really want to learn dark curses, but realizes that sometimes you have to fight fire with fire. If there is one thing that Harry is good at it's learning spells.

- I hope that Severus' plans will work. He needs to neutralize the Carrows soon. Their abuses upon the students and staff cannot continue.

- Severus should have reigned them in sooner and Aurora should have been more careful. If she hadn't been alone, Carrow wouldn't have gotten a hold on her.
I wonder what Severus is going to do to Amycus? I hope that he gives that bastard what he deserves and that isn't a quick easy death.
