I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter!

Severus Snape is my hero and favorite character by far. I have never forgiven J.K. for killing him off. I love to see him as a father figure to Harry. (Who needs James Potter? Not me!)

There are few pairings that I won't read about, but for some reason I cannot abide Ginny Weasley, unless she is a villian. I like her that way. Though that doesn't mean that I won't read fics with her as the love interest, it's just not my preference. Truth is that I adore reading and my tastes are rather eclectic, so bring on the stories, because I'm ready to review!

I have just started my first attempt at a Harry Potter fanfic and I hope that everyone will enjoy it. I welcome all constructive critism and any advice given will be noted.

    Oh no! Poor Harry! xD His summer is going to be very interesting to say the least. I would love to see a continuation of this story line. I really want to know what will happen over the summer.

    Fabulous story!

    Dumbledore certainly put his foot in it when he lied to Severus about where he had placed Harry. He really did deserve that broken nose. Severus was really quite clever and I really liked that he thought to have Hagrid adopt Harry. That this enabled them to remove the boy from the competition was only icing on the cake.

    It's really too bad that Ron is such a jealous git of an idiot. He ought to have known that Harry didn't willing enter into the competition. Then when Harry was pulled out because of the adoption, he got mad because Harry didn't choose the Weasleys! -rolls eyes- You just can't please the fool. I hope that Ron knows that he is really lucky that Harry took him back.

    I also liked the interplay between Severus and Harry. The way their relationship had ups and downs was very well done. The story of Myrridin was facinating and I quite liked him as a character too. I'm really happy that the 'dream' wasn't real and merely a test. It was a bit cruel, I suppose, but the intentions were certainly good. At least, it all turned out well in the end.

    Thanks for the review. I based Ron's behaviour on that of Percy (i.e. after it was discovered that Voldemort really had returned, Percy was too proud to accept that he was wrong). However, despite his temper and bullheadedness, Ron is, ultimately, a good person and Harry forgave him because of that. 

    I'm glad that you liked the way in which I portrayed Harry's and Severus' tempestuous relationship- they're both too fiery to not rock the boat once in a while- and I'm pleased that Myrridin- and his test- have been so well received. Thanks.

    I know that it was difficult for Severus to speak to Harry about his own past, but am glad that he did. It will help Harry to know that there IS someone who truly understands and that will help him to open up. I just hope that he won't wait too long to do so.

    Go get her! As a Ministry employee, Umbridge knew full well that she was committing a serious crime and that makes her offense even worse. I'm glad that Harry told Severus what she did and hope that he will be able to get Umbitch punished.

    I think Harry is beginning to see that Severus has changed his attitude toward him and that will help build further trust. The knowledge that someone truly does care will do him a world of good.

    I hate to say this, but I feel it's a good thing that Harry got sick enough that he missed his appointment, warrenting a welfare check by Severus. It is highly doubtful that Harry would have ever willingly told anyone of his plight, due to his embarrassment. Severus' discovery was a blessing.

    I wonder which ghost Severus is hoping to see? Is he planning on sending a ghostly 'gift' to the Dursleys for Christmas? :D

    Now that Severus knows why Harry has been having difficulty in Potions, perhaps he can find a way to help Harry find a way to brew successfully. I think that this was a large step in bringing them to an even closer relationship. I wonder how long it will take for Severus to realize that he is growing attached to Harry...

    I'm glad that Harry has decided to finally willingly tell someone about the Dursleys. I hope that with Severus' support and protection that it will go well. There are difficult times ahead for Harry and he is going to need all the help he can get, so I'm really glad that he has Severus now.
