I wanted to ask about Snape appearing more often and then I read the end notes... the only thing that i can say is that the story and chapter both are just GREAT and you1ve got me totally hooked up:)

    Author's Response:

    Thanks :-)

well what can i say? a wonderful chapter of a wonderful story and i cant wait for an update... i like that - despite the story leading to Snape becoming a guardian to Harry it is not cliche in the slightest...i wonder (even though i am unsure whether i really want to know) how long do you plan the story to be... i mean...on one hand the (admitedly short) waiting between chapters is killing me...on the other hand i just wish the story would go on and on and on because its simply good reading...10 points from me:)

    Author's Response:

Thanks. I'm glad you like it.

As for your question... Had you asked me that question about a month ago, I would have said that it'll be thirty-eight chapters (the splitted ones respectively counting as one chapter), but a subplot came to mind that has already caused me to write an additional chapter, so it'll be longer.... I can't tell you how many words there will be, but chapter-wise we haven't hit half yet.

    Thanks again for reviewing.

oh my goodness :D i finished the previous chapter half an hour ago and i decided to check "recent" JUST IN CASE and ... well ... you are my idol, i swear :D i wish there were more authors like you...and i wish i could write at least half as well as you, or half as fast (hell, sometimes i feel that you write faster than i read...)... well, lovely chapter. I like Severus and Harry getting closer. and i really wish for a happy (if far away) ending for both of them. still, i have to admit that given the context, the sentence "Tom would sooner become a part of the Order than that." really gives me creeps...

    Author's Response:

Your review made me blush. But I don't write that fast. Everything I've written so far, was already written and posted on FFN. Sorry, I thought I mentioned that I'm from FFN. From now on, I'll post chapter for chapter that I'll be writing in the following months, so there will be longer pauses in between updates, especially because lectures started again.

I'm so glad you noticed that sentence :) It came to me in the spur of the moment, but I thought it magnifies the 'scary' because when a man like Dumbledore's clueless... Well...

    Thanks for reviewing:)

Following the death of Sirius, Harry isn't sure what to make of the sudden appearance of a six-year-old boy. The pair form a bond, unaware they're half-brothers, and Harry decides to take the boy to Hogwarts and hide him there. To aide the boy's education, Harry anonymously exchanges letters with Snape.

A story of a how a young boy becomes a father-figure to another while their own father is oblivious of their biological existence. But can sixteen-year-old Harry give what he himself has not gained? Can he go an entire year without being discovered? Just how far will Severus go to find the writer of those letters...Or are some things best left unknown?

i know i am repeating myself but i want to say once more that i think this story is GREAT and ORIGINAL and i really love it:) a wierd idea occured to me while i read the Snape - Tonks exchange...could it be that Sirius somehow knew that Severus was Harrys father and told Sev so (in a fit of anger or maybe in his testament?) but Snape refused to acknowledge it...? well, no matter how it really is i am really eager to read another chapter...and then another...and another...and so on :)

    Author's Response:

I don't mind hearing those comments over a few times, it's nice to know I can keep those things up :P. Can't give much away but anything Sirius said was not done during a state of anger nor testament. It was itnentional and aimed to adress part of an issue. However, it was not quite as specific as you may assume, but you'll have to wait and see to find out more. Severus refusing the possibility of certain things rather than the issues themselves.

I'm glad to hear that, I'll be updating again over the next few days. Thanks for your review!

THE STORY IS AS WONDERFUL AS EVER:) and I love it and I apologise but I dont have time to write a longer review so this will have to suffice for today:)

well, I think I already said so, but I guess it doesnt hurt to repeat myself occasionally: I LOVE THIS STORY :)
these two chapters included. I admit that for a moment the Irma Pinces revelation felt kinda like "Luke, I am your father" moment (and I dont much like other stories copying that), a bit too dramatic. Though its curious that her name can be respelled that way...Anyway, I loved the chapter in general. :)
