Final Note 6 - June 2018:

Although it has already been a long time since I have posted or updated anything, it is time to make it official.

I will no longer be writing fanfiction.

I haven't come to this decision because I have run out of ideas or inspiration for my current works - to the contrary, I have put a lot of thought and planning into each of them. Even now, the moments and scenes I had planned live happily in my head. The issue becomes the fact that I have limited free time, so I must choose how to spend it. This is why there have so often been extremely long breaks between updates. In turn, this becomes unfair to readers, as I know that they often have limited free time as well and it is very easy to forget the plot of a story that wasn't born within your own head (and sometimes even then!).

Now, I know many of you would continue to wait for updates. We lovers of fanfiction are tenacious that way. However, since my free time is limited, I have decided that my focus needs to be on my original works.

In that spirit, though a part of me is saddened, I hereby abandon all my current works-in-progress. I will not be updating them again. However, I also open my stories up for adoption, should anyone be interested in continuing them in my stead. (Though, to be clear, I don't honestly think anyone would, but) I ask only that I be credited and that no large portions of my work, incomplete or no, be copied by another (so please link/direct readers back to my work if you continue it).

I've had such a great time in this fandom. Thanks to all who've helped keep the magic alive!

    WOW.

    I had a whole, big, ungainly paragraph of what I wanted to say as I got to this final chapter, but words suddenly fail me. This... this... it's - where to begin! I adore Tom and Foster - they're my favorites, and the idea itself and the way you executed it was BRILLIANT. I find myself quite suddenly and exceedingly grateful for insomnia (if you have it, might as well put it use, eh?).

    Can't say as I fully understand what was "behind" the last door - perhaps I am slower than I fancy myself? - but I don't find myself feeling that the story lacks in the slightest, so I guess that's okay. (Though, if you feel the impulse to enlighten me, I won't complain.)

    Anyhow - I'm babbling. I love this fic. A lot. I'd give it Double-Awesome if that were possible, and considering that I like just about everything, believe me when I say that that truly is a high commendation on my part. (Don't suppose you have any other fics stashed away somewhere..?)

    I like this. It made for an entertaining read, and while it certainly made me wish to see more where Snape investigates and looks into the questions that Potter's words evoked, it came to an ending that I as a reader am content with. (Though, seriously; sequel? Will you write a sequel? ... have you written a sequel? I'll have to check.)

    Especially loved the end when the tins are still active! Brilliant touch.
