Facinating premise; I've always thought that, had Snape's life taken another path, he'd have been an unspeakable and the addition of being a seer is very interesting and the way in which you have portrayed it's manifestation is highly believable. I like the interaction between Severus and Tobias, not to mention their backstory, and the way in which you've interwoven canon events (Dumbledore's ill-judged horcrux meddling) is intreguing. Looking forward to more.

Wow, what a wonderfully twisty chapter; I thought that Harry might be in danger, given the returned letter, but this chapter came as a surprise, nevertheless. At first I thought the murder-suicide was a bit OOC for VD but then it turned out to be Death-eaters, which seemed much more likely and the Dursleys did remain in character after all. I do wonder, though, why the protection failed on Privet Drive; was it because the Dursleys had broken their side of the bargain by staving him so severely? Very interesting details about the nature of magic and I really like your descriptions, which are very vivid.

Great chapter; the interplay between Harry, Severus and Tobias was really well written and realistic; you've softened Severus but he's still recognisable, just seems to have lived a slightly different life and developed accordingly. The detail about the floor cleaner was deliciously horrible and Harry's behaviour overall felt very authentic.

Very interesting chapter; Harry and Severus' interaction was very realistic, though I'm not sure about the timeline- didn't you say that, between 3 and 10, Severus was living with Gil Malfoy instead of at Spinners End? Also, given Severus' thoughts on introducing Harry slowly to the magical world, he seems to have changed his mind half-way through the chapter(in that he introduces magic, which is clearly a contentious subject with Harry) when Harry needs to relax; a portrayal of his thought processes might be helpful. Otherwise, a really great chapter; I love how you have Tobias (who has been through it all before) helping Severus to help Harry.

I absolutely love how you've portrayed Tobias and his interaction with Harry; it's sweet but also very realistic. I'm also really enjoying Severus' backstory and I like his internal struggle over Harry vis a vis his paternity. Great Chapter. Harry's needle phobia was also a great plot device to build his relationship with Severus

Very interesting chapter; loved the twist with the wand- it was completely unexpected and Severus' reaction felt very in character (as did Harry's; now that he's feeling more secure, he's sure to test the boundaries). I'm very interested in seeing where you're going with this plot!

Very interesting info about Sirius Black's escape and death (if that was, indeed, his body they found) and Lily's relationship with and letters to Severus. The grave scene was very touching. I'm really enjoying Harry and Severus' and Tobias and Severus' interaction

I loved the hairbrush scene; giving Harry the light pats was much better than simply refusing to beat him as, in Harry's mind it allowed the other shoe to drop and showed him that he had no need to fear. Very interesting use of the regression potion in proving Sirus' innocence. The scene at the end was a nice twist; very interested in seeing how this will play out. One way or another, I feel Severus and Tobias will have their revenge on GM

Loved this chapter; Hufflepuff house certainly suits Harry's true nature and is particularly apt due to the wand. I really liked the court scene, which had some lovely twists (although English Barristers don't shout objection, nor do English Judges use a gavel; it's all rather restrained and formulaic lol!) I love the names Harry gave his animals and the interplay between Kingsley, Tobias and Harry. Oh, and Having Aberforth as a judge was inspired; in personality, he's certainly a good fit for a number of Judges I know ^^. All in all, a great, original little story which is well written, believable and heartwarming.

Hah! Pride goeth before a fall :) I wonder how many Gryffindor points Harry will lose before he works out where to draw the line; the PMS remark (which was hilarious) certainly deserved a few points off. Quite a clever device, actually, to show both parties the error of their ways ^^. Very well written, with a witty, sparky dialogue.
Author's Response: Hehe, thanks! Glad you liked it! Harry will probably lose many, many more points before he learns to bite his tongue. :D Thanks again for the compliments! ^_^
