James Potter was not the great Gryffindor everyone claimed he was. Terrible secrets and evil deeds plagued his mind, his soul. In order to rid himself of these, he erased his memories, keeping them only in a small leather Journal where he revealed the entire terrible truth. - Very interesting twist; although I don't think canon Ron would have defected, I can certainly see how certain traits, if tweaked, could make him very much like Peter Pettigrew. I loved the Harry/Voldemort interaction: Harry's clearly marked out for the Alpha lol!
