- This is amazingly well written and I'm really loving it! I especially love: "It left him numb, clumsy, unsure of himself; occasionally it made him feel unreal, so he rereestablished his presence in his body by causing himself pain. Something he could feel." I have a child like that, poor kid.

Yes, Tim's symptoms are similiar to problems my son has had, as well as problems I myself have had.
Sort of a severe case of fibromyalgia accompanied with a disorder in sensory integration.
I figure "Crucio" is Unforgivable for a reason.

- Oooh, sooo good! Here's something I never thought of before: "I've thought about the damned prophecy over the years, too. I sometimes wonder if 'Mark him as his equal' meant I was marked for the kind of childhood." Interesting thought! And I loved this line too: "I'm finding things that are fascinating, useful, amazingly insightful and not at all what I'm looking for." Great job!

- Liked everything up until the last line. Scholarship names are an honor and Vernon and Petunia stole that money meant for Harry. I'd rather it be the "Harry and Dudley scholarship." Well, we'll see in the next chapter :-)

Don't worry, that's just Dudley's rather deadpan humor--a common trait to social workers. Harry doesn't want it named after him, so it'll be "The Barton Scholarship"--Dudley uses Phillip's last name.
