Harry has no idea what is happening to him or why he cannot remember anything from the past year. But Snape knows what is going on, and he can't tell Harry.

Just before Christmas, Harry hears the basilisk again and believes he's going mad. Why else would he hear a voice that no one else can, talking about blood and death? Unable to take the stress, he flees the castle in the middle of a blizzard. Severus Snape follows him and they end up trapped in a cave, along with a very rare creature. Will they survive to see Christmas morning? Will they finally learn to set aside old grudges and impressions and learn the truth about each other? Christmas 2010 fic! - Good way for Harry to let the cat out of the bag regarding the Dursleys, and its nice for Snape to have some help for once. I like the Wise One.
Author's Response: Yes, Snape sure needs all the help he can get. And I wanted Harry to do something involuntary regarding the Dursleys and this just seemed like a good way to reveal what went on at Privet Drive.

- Good that Harry realised for himself it would be a good thing to confide in Snape, also that he didn't actually have to do it.Have to agree with Harry, the Wise One's fighting abilities are brilliant. Hope she can help with the basilisk.
