- This is so good! Ron is seriously being a prat and I hate that he can't just accept harry and Snape for who they are. :( And also I do feel a bit bat for Minerva because she messed up and all...but confused Snape is so cute! He just doesn't know how to deal with these feelings :) and it's so cute! I can't wait for the Holidays! Please more fluff! :D

Just before Christmas, Harry hears the basilisk again and believes he's going mad. Why else would he hear a voice that no one else can, talking about blood and death? Unable to take the stress, he flees the castle in the middle of a blizzard. Severus Snape follows him and they end up trapped in a cave, along with a very rare creature. Will they survive to see Christmas morning? Will they finally learn to set aside old grudges and impressions and learn the truth about each other? Christmas 2010 fic! - yay! This is so freaking cute! I've never read a sotyr like this before! It's so original and really cool! very good job! I love how Snape tried to act all unconcerned but he really was...going out inthe blizzard like that :) this chap was really good with Harry hallucinating and all very good job!
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I always try and do something original for my Christmas fics. Last year when I wrote Away in a Manger, I put Harry in a manger as a baby and had Snape find him. This time it's a snowstorm and a snake. Yeah, Snape always tries to act like he doesn't give a damn but he really does and it shows in ahundred small ways and not so small ones eventually.
