- Although I'm enjoying this story I'd like to offer a constructive critcism. You use "was" a lot when simply using the past tense of the verb would be better. Ex:"as Ron was spending a lot of time with Dean and Seamus" could be changed to "Ron spent a lot of time..." Never underestimate the value of a meaty verb. *grin*

- Surely by the end of the day, Severus will have more than enough proof that Harry is being abused by his relatives? Great chapter!
After helping Draco Malfoy escape the custody of Sirius Black, Harry endures the wrath of his Godfather. When Snape comes looking for Draco, Harry tells him that Draco has run away, and that he won’t tell him where Draco is unless Snape takes Harry with him. **Note** I'm aware that some of you don't like bad!Sirius stories. Don't worry, Sirius isn't actually in the story much, however there is redemption in the end. It's not so much that he's just bad, more that he's fallen. This story is about how people fall, and how they can make it back out in the end, getting a second chance. It is NOT a character bashing story.

- I can understand Snape rationalizing Harry's abuse, even in the face of his injuries, but I can't imagine why he seems equally dismissive of Draco's injuries. Shouldn't he be frothing at the bit to get back at Sirius for the damage done to his godson? Even if he does blame Harry, he knows Sirius is the one who caused the physical damage.
Author's Response:
He is very angry, but at this point he's still taking things out on Harry in the form of denying him the attention he needs. I also don't believe in revenge, I dont' like reading stories or writing stories with revenge, so there will be none of that. It hasn't been written in yet, but Severus knows that Dumbledore will want this swept under the table. They still need Sirius for Order things. Severus knows this from personal experience already because he has openly shown his dislike for Sirius in the past and Dumbledore has told him to keep a lid on it so to speak.
Hope this helps! Thanks for reviewing. I will try to get more of Severu's thoughts about Sirius into the story. There will be ample opportunity for it!

- Kudos to Ron for taking the news in a mature way and standing by his friend! Now... I wonder what's in those letters from Remus, and will he come to the castle to talk to Harry in person if Harry continues to ignore those letters?
