Severus Snape comes across a runaway… the boy-who-lived to be exact, and drags him back to his home where a struggling Harry is surprised to find Luna Lovegood. Severus had agreed to take custody of Luna at the start of the summer, but taking on the boy who lived to be a pain in his arse as well? - Another great chapter. I hope that Harry becomes more family to Severus soon... Dumbledore was selfish to simply whisk him away as he did without even asking.... And Severus already is starting to see him as family it seems... Ahh. Can't wait until the next chapter(s). =)

Sick of being coddled and told everything was going to pan out okay, Harry seeks out the truth from the one person he knew would never lie to him...Severus Snape...only the truth is a little more then he bargained for.

Author's Response: As a matter of fact it is, and it has the same title. Please don't judge me though lol...I wrote that when I was young and foolish ;)
When the Dursleys abandoned Harry in the Hut on the Rock, he never could have foreseen how his dire predicament would lead to the fulfillment of his birthday wish for a different, better life.

I began writing in late Feb, and I was determined to get it completely finished before posting any of it (otherwise, it might NEVER get finished!), so it's fantastic to see that my very first reviewer loved it!
