Rather than allowing Harry to stay at Diagon Alley after he blew up Aunt Marge, the Ministry sends Harry back to the Dursleys. Harry returns to school after a terrible summer, to find that he's not the only one with this kind of secret. A student has been killed by his family. New screening measures are put into place by the Ministry: Every student must be given a medical exam and interview to look for child abuse. With Dumbledore facing an inquiry, Snape is entrusted with the task of making sure EVERYONE receives one.

- This is so nice! I love this Severus just too much. You' ve made him perfect: he isn't too caring but he is caring just like Rowling's Snape would be. I don't think i've been clear but i find in this fic the same real Snape that i first met in the HP books and i like it.
Following the death of Sirius, Harry isn't sure what to make of the sudden appearance of a six-year-old boy. The pair form a bond, unaware they're half-brothers, and Harry decides to take the boy to Hogwarts and hide him there. To aide the boy's education, Harry anonymously exchanges letters with Snape.

- This story is so addictive!!!!
This chapter is wonderful, I was so anxious when i was reading about Snape and Toby on the tower that i couldn't make myself stay still, I started tapping my foot so compulsively that i woke my sleeping grandma... By the way, i drew a picture about chapter 14, it's not a Botticelli (in fact i drew it to have a break from my Latin homework, which lasted 6 hours!!!!) but I'd like to show you, how can I do?

- So cool!!!!!!! Harry and Snape were not at each other's throat for a whole chapter!!! This must be a record. I really enjoyed the part in which Snape helps Harry without insulting him.
