- LOL I loved the ending - I take that whenever the Dursleys go to those areas where Harry got abused - they will get that same abuse that he received right? :)

Author's Response: Actually, the spell-power 'gathered' at those spots because that's where the most abuse happened, and the spell was figuring out what needed to be done to avenge Harry. The Dursleys will suffer the consequences, tit for tat, no matter where they are over the next decade. Every bit of unhappiness, every bruise, every broken bone Harry experienced at their hands will happen to them by some means (losing a job, or the house, or a car wreck, or what have you). Technically speaking, it's a Dark Arts spell, especially these days, but Severus doesn't exactly care ... and it's one of the few that cannot be broken or ended once cast. Not even Dumbledore will be able to undo it, which is why he chose this particular spell. And take heart. There may or may not be an excess of spiders in the sequel ... remember, things are happening a LOT differently at this point. *grin*

- Oh great chapter oh mighty writer! :P Loved this one so much - the interactions of the professors and students in the sessions, plus the notes the professors write to each other are priceless! It makes for such a great story, that I have a hard time waiting for the next chapter to come out! :D
I also loved the explanation of the tree dancing - and that Snape has rhythms too. :))
A couple favorites from this chappie:

And "Hermes" ROFL! I am happy that Hermione calls Harry a "brother" as her "family" - I wonder if Snape is part of that too, and she is hesitant to say so; it was looking that way to me for a minute there...and I did wonder - does Harry see her as a him, because she is so tough/tomboyish, or is it because he really doesn't know?
Also enjoyed Ron helping Harry out too. Good for him!

- Oh dear - Hermione being abused? Not sure what you are referring to... I see a very unhappy girl who is not allowed to be herself; ie: wearing pants instead of dresses, etc. But then, I don't have experience to know what to look for either, regardless that this is a story.
And what does the essence of murtlap do for Harry? I must confess I have a hard time remembering that he is wearing blue dreadlocks, you make him so endearing that I tend to forget that part of his character.
Very well written...can't wait for the next chapter!

- As I am rereading the story, I have to say that this by far is my favorite chapter.
Right from where Harry says he plays duck and cover every time Neville blows his potions up to the last:

- Oh this was awesome! SQUUEEEE! I loved that Harry was able to change his hair to look like "his professor". :D And thank you for answering about his dreadlocks... I think that he and Tonks will get along fine! :P That is, if he meets Tonks later in this story or any sequel thereof... :D
Will Harry now keep the long black hair? It's part of being Snape's little bat.

- This chapter was great! I wonder though will Dumbledore and the other professors see Harry dance with the tree again? And what made Harry do that anyway? :)
I bet though, that if some of the students saw Harry doing that, they'd be less likely to pick on him, when they realize just how powerful he is.
And poor Hermione! Maybe she'll get better soon tempermentally wise now that some of her treasured books are with her at Hogwarts. How mean her mother is! I'd be devestated if anyone ever did that to my books. :(
