    Death Eaters that close to Headquarters is a bad sign. They were lucky to get the kids in safely. Harry must be happy to have his friends there. Snape may be watching out for him but he isn't the most chatty company.

Response to the 'Physical Issue' challenge by Jan-AQ. There is a physical reason why Harry can never exit the floo without falling over, or knocking into something. A physical reason with a sinister past rooted in the very reason he is known as 'The-Boy-Who-Lived.'

    Interesting premise. It seems likely that Harry would have some damage from the original curse and that the connection to Voldy would add to the problems. I like your Harry and Snape. They seem very much in character. I also liked that when Harry realized he needed help, suddenly Snape was 'sir.'

    Author's Response: Glad you enjoy it! I've always liked the idea of Harry's scar causing more damage than just the superficial scar itself. Glad you like this rendition of Snape and think he's in character, I'm trying really hard to keep him that way!

Being sorted into Slytherin must have been a mistake. How could it have been anything else? Harry Potter MUST be a Gryffindor. He has to be! Why would the Sorting Hat put him anywhere else? It must me a mistake. Surely the Headmaster can fix this!

    I have read other stories where Harry is sorted into Slytherin but your story is unique. An abused Harry is common but not one quite this beaten down. Having the wizarding world so up in arms over it, is a new one. I am very much looking forward to the next chapter.

    Author's Response: Thank you so much! :) I just can't believe that the youngest Potions Master would not have an anitdote for Nagini's venom. And I think with everything that he went through since he was a child, he deserved a happy ending. :)

Snape wants to be Slytherin's new head of house. Harry wants a home. Dumbledore has a plan for these two. If Snape can prove he can take care of the 9 year old, the job is his. But taking care of a kid isn't as easy as it looks. As the young dark eyed Potions Professor tries to do his best, Harry learns what it means to have a good guardian, even if he isn't a perfect one.
