- I'm glad Harry has a new friend. That should make his time in New Zealand more pleasant. The scenes with Grandmother were fascinating. You described the location and the elemental really well. I was glad to find out more about Snape's background, too.

- I was glad that Rona turned up to help Snape with the potion. He may not have wanted to admit it, but he did need help. So he was tortured by Voldemort. No wonder he was missing so much at Hogwarts. At least he has people who care for him in New Zealand.

- I wondered when Grandmother would come on the scene. You have done a great job building the suspense. The wounded Snape, Harry's defensive shield and Helen's attempt to get the wand to Severus really built the mood. Looking forward to more!
