The sequel to Never Again!
Things are going well for the Snape family, after the near disasters of the past year, except for a few minor mishaps. But when Harry meets two new Muggleborn witches in his primary school, one of whom has a mother Sev decides to date, Harry must realize that he’s not the only person in his father’s life anymore. And so, like any child, he must go through the sometimes frustrating, occasionally funny, and totally bewildering process of growing up, with help from Tobias, of course.

- Hmmm... A baby? Or is Lexy gonna pull a Harry? And I'm just curious... what of the Dursleys in this universe?
Author's Response: Well . . .you'll just have to wait and see! As for the Dursleys, yes they do exist in this universe, but they have nothing to do with Harry or Severus since Lily married Severus, they don't like wizards or magic and refuse to have any contact with them. Which is why they aren't in this story.

When Harry wakes one morning, he discovers a badly injured Snape in his living room, and tries to hide him. But Petunia discovers them and reveals a secret she has kept for thirteen years--one that will change the course of Harry's life forever, and Severus's as well. AU, pre-GOF.

- *snort* My parents would have spanked Petunia *and* Dudley. My baby brother is 6'5, and his then-girlfriend was shocked when my mom came to retrieve him when he should have been studying for a college exam instead of hanging out with her, grabbed him by the ear, and hauled him out to the car. My parents swear that their kids are never too old for a telling-off or even a spanking when they need it!
Author's Response: Sounds very similar to my parents, LOL! But at least the Dursleys won't be bothering Lily and Sev or Harry anytime soon. And if they spanked Dudley and Petunia, they should've also spanked Vernon, yes? :D

- Lupus isn't necessarily a death sentence. My mom's oldest friend has been living with the disease for thirty years. She's raised seven kids, survived two husbands, lived through several boughts of cancer, and is currently growing old with her third husband. And she did it mostly on herbal cures, too...
Author's Response: Yes, I'm aware of that, although my friend's mother did die of it while she was in college. Lily doesn't actually die of the disease, but of the way her magic responds to it, as you'll see. back in the 1980's before they came out with all the new treatments and stuff, more people tended to die from the complications. It really depended on the individual and how the disease expressed itself. Your mom's friend was very lucky, good for her!
