- Go Bloody Baron!! I'm glad that Harry is gathering allies, even ghostly ones, as I'm afraid he's going to need all the help he can get just to stay alive!!
Oooh!! I'm a little afraid of what Professor Snape will find if he's sifting through Harry's brain, and I hope it doesn't hurt Harry too much when he's doing it!!

- Harry kicked Snape out of his mind!!! OMG!! Go Harry - I think that Snape won't have any trouble teaching Occlumency to Harry!! And Harry and Draco are both on the team - a banner day for Harry all around!!!
I'm curious to learn what Zabini's problem is, whether it's just jealousy or something darker - and who did give Harry the chocolate frogs and if they mean to help or harm him?!
Fantastic chapter - you're really setting things up here, and it's leaving me on the edge of my seat in anticipation!!

- Ha!! Did Severus really think that detention would be more important that Quidditch?! Not bloody likely - there'll always be more detentions (especially for Harry it seems!) but Quidditch - and the chance to increase his standing with his fellow Slytherins - is paramount to Harry, and rightly so!!
I hope Severus realizes that these constant detentions, while keeping Harry close and hopefully out of harm's way, won't help Harry integrate better with his study group and fellow Firsties!!

- Oh Poor Harry!! He really is having a hard time of it!! I'm glad he told Severus about his scar hurting around Quirrell though - hopefully this will get Severus properly looking into the thing!! I'm glad Harry had fun during his practice and that Severus let him go a bit early so he can try to get some of his homework done!!

Severus finally did it!! He actually apologised!! OMG!! I'm am squeeing like a mad thing here, you've no idea!!
Oh poor Harry!! What a horrible, horrible time he's been having!! I'm so glad that he's had his fellow Slytherins and the Bloody Baron to step up for him!! And I'm sorry that he hurt himself while trying to express his rage - I'm sure he needed to get it out though before he gave himself an ulcer!!
Maybe now that Severus has pulled his head out of his butt, he can help Harry get caught back up and onto a far more reasonable schedule if he isn't stuck with a bunch of unfair detentions!!

- OMG!! Severus bought Harry a broom!! And he's helping him catch up!! And he's not giving him stupid detentions!! And Harry actually has some free time!! I am a-Squee!!
Of course, I'm sure that this wonderful situation won't last, and Harry will be up to his eyeballs in trouble again, but hopefully now he knows he's got Severus on his side, he'll let him help and not go off trying to save the world (or himself) on his own!!
Loved this chapter - Severus not being an @ss is my favorite kind of Severus!!

- Oh holy sh*t!! Can I smack Dumbledore really hard?! I can't believe that he and that old crab McGonagall are actually suggesting that Harry is cheating just because he's Sytherin!! I hate how the Slytherins' are treated in canon, and you've managed to reflect it nicely here - I'm so glad that Harry has Severus in his corner now, as I know Severus will do whatever it takes to keep Harry safe, and help him succeed!! Poor Harry!! He's always asking for people to tell him the truth and now that Severus has, he's found out he's in danger of being killed by a professor!! I live in hopes that Severus will just quietly kill Quirrell so that Harry doesn't keep having to look over his shoulder all the time!! Does this make me a bad person?! LOL!!
btw, I didn't actually get an update notice for this chapter - I got an update notice for another story and when I check the recent fics, I saw this was there - just thought you should know!! I do check for updates/new fics every couple of days anyways, but if others don't check as often they may end up missing this!
I'm sorry you have a sinus infection = they are just incredibly nasty and painful!! I do hope you're feeling better, and I thank you for updating even when you're feeling like crap!!

How sad is it that Harry is positively thrilled that he's linked to a ghost "Till the end times", and that a ghost is his best friend?!
I'm sorry that Harry feels he can't trust Severus not to have an agenda (other than just helping Harry), and they were making such progress after the trip to Godric's Hollow too!! Hopefully Severus can fix this!!
