After a few spells from his time at Hogwarts make a comeback, Severus Snape tries to reveal who exactly has his old book.
Dolores Umbridge sees that once again, Harry Potter makes a mess at her school. She will find his mysterious partner, one Half Blood Prince, and punish him.

- I love the comparison of Snape to a cat. The scene with Lily in the tree confused me.

Severus froze mid-footfall. He felt as though he’d had the wind knocked out of him.
"She's my mum." her chin lifted, her eyes clear. "She wrote me that letter to tell me about you. You're the only person she really mentioned, but I guess that makes sense, since you're my father. Who else was she supposed to talk about?"

- Interesting start. I can’t help thinking of the Little Mermaid if her name is Ariel.

- I’ve caught up since I was a few chapters behind. You’ve done an excellent job portraying Snape as a bitter but passionate person. You can really feel his pain as well as his anger. Ariel’s curiosity and spunk also come across well.
