Written for the 'Pandemonium' and 'Fear is a true prison of the heart' prompts, as well as the 'Necessary Potion,' 'Phobia,' and 'Morning Post' challenges. Snape finds it necessary to ask for Harry's help in concocting a potion, but . . . why? What is the Potions master hiding? And why does he need to borrow Hedwig? Entrant in the 2009 Prompt Fest. Harry is heartbroken by memory of his father bulling Snape and isn't sure where to continue from there. Unfortunately, he doesn't have much time to mourn, because when Snape finds him, he is furious at the invasion of privacy. Once dragged to the man's quarters, Harry learns that it's best not to make his Potions Professor snap.
