[COMPLETE] After Harry blows up Aunt Marge and catches the Knight Bus to Diagonalley, he decides to take charge of his life when he learns he’s being sent back to Four Privet Drive. Harry spends the summer turning life in Diagonalley on its head, trying not to worry about the murderer Sirius Black, and attempting to avoid Severus Snape. In the midst of this he finds himself embroiled in an intense legal battle against Albus Dumbledore to decide his future. For the first time his fate rests solely in his own hands, and depend on the decisions he finds himself being forced to make. Harry wishes he could just be a thirteen year old boy, and begins to wonder if he’ll ever have the childhood he desires the most. Some of the warnings listed just as a precaution for things mentioned or alluded to.

    I’m so very thrilled you have continued Building Doors. You have a tendency to write some of my most favorite rereads.

    I thought this chapter was very well written. Thanks for giving us a few extra pov’s a Harry seems in too much of a fog to pay attention to what all is going on.

    When will Albus & Severus discover exactly what Harry sees during dementor attacks? Or is it Remus or Poppy who will find out first? Perhaps Ron & Hermione will spill the beans. Will we hear any more from Justin, or was he just a summer friend?

    Thanks so much again. Your writing is always so fantastic!

    I know Sirius is typically absent for most of PoA, but I hope we will see some more from him soon.

    Gosh, but that was dramatic! I loved this newest Alley interlude! How will Harry fight this? Is there a way to take the ministry to court, either for violating laws on British or international standards? Surely there is some kind of right to work standard, or a law requiring them to prove those citations aren’t just made up?

    I can’t wait to see what you have in mind to handle this!

Harry would never have guessed what moving to a new city with the Dursleys would mean. He also never would have guessed who his new neighbor would be, or that he was being watched... followed... stalked when he went out at night looking for food and safety. Severus was none too pleased that this was one of those years the Ministry and the board of governors had decided to hold one. Remus kidnaps 10 year old Harry when Albus refuses to remove him from the Dursley’s abuse. Severus is sent to find them and bring Potter back and he's not happy about being used like Dumbledore's personal servant. A Snape mentors Harry fic with a lot of Remus, Weasley and Draco involvement. No slash in the story. No relationship between Severus and Remus. Note: Dumbledore isn't evil in this story, but he is not trusted by the main characters involved because of the decisions he’s made.

    You’ve done a lovely job on this. I like your introductory chapters of Harry’s thoughts. I would love more thoughts from Molly, Severus and Remus if possible.
    I like that Harry apologized to Severus. When do you suppose they will get any amount of time together?
    When Harry and Remus were separated, I thought you had Severus perfectly in character. He would do quiet background changes, wait and watch for when he could quietly effect important changes.

    Author's Response: For at least the first 10 chapters Severus is in a supporting role, though there are moments when he and Harry end up together for whatever reason.  Once Harry's back at school there's not a whole lot of time for him to spend with either character.

    I think Harry needs a better idea about just how prejudiced society is of werewolves. His idea that no one would mess with him is rather mistaken, no?

    My favorite of your unfinished stories is building doors.I just found it so riveting.
