Harry and Snape are thrown together by annoying relatives, a series of strange dreams, and Voldemort's latest hunt for Harry, but their greatest challenge may well be surviving each other. This will be a long summer unless the two can find a way to work together. A slow-burn enemy-to-mentor story.

    I am loving this story quite a bit! I have just started my second reread after coming up to current two weeks ago.

    I have an error to point out though! You repeated a paragraph. It begins:

    Snape winced as though he’d suffered a physical pain, and his face whitened beyond his usual pallor.

    I forgot to point it out the last time I read it, so I'm doing so now!

Blaise probably couldn't expect much, this time. Blaise was a Death Eater's kid, raised by, if not always Death Eaters, at least not blood traitors. Molly Weasley's soul was so clean it squeaked. It was a good thing Blaise had Snape to fall back on, for awhile. Mrs. Weasley was just too...not a Death Eater. Way, way too not a Death Eater to want to keep Blaise for very long.

    Hey just so you know, I love this. I also love how Blaize consistently counts. Or makes little lists, that is. Its such an interesting tic that is still so relatable, and yet really /distinct/ from Harry.     I really really like the student court, it was an excellent touch to add to the fair minded Hufflepuffs, and really makes things like Susan's aunt being part of the Wisengamot seem really fully fleshed out and like it has roots in this first little bit of her past in hufflepuff (assuming she was).

    I like the small but important, shared, detail of his heart aching and being soothed simultaneously by being tucked in. I like how this all makes it very easily to, literally, walk a mile in Harry's shoes. This is all very good.
