- I'm a bit worried, the slytherins need to be able to count on snape or else they've already lost. I hate to think that he needs to behave the way he's always behaved but the slytherins have so much stacked against them already.... anyway, awesome chapter as usual! Remus and Sirius tracking down the true origins of magic is throwing me for such a loop! It's such a marauder thing to do -- take what you see and kick it to the curb! Lol

- Real life always comes first of course but I am ecstatic you're back! And with such an awesome chapter at that. I knew Sirius wouldn't sit on this for long and I'm glad they were able to come up with a way to let him and harry see each other. Doing it as a service dog wad even funnier

- I wanna be angry at them forcing that Dreamless sleep on him-- he's not going to sleep and now, he'll be trapped in voldemorts head watching Mr. Weasley die with no way out of it!-- but they're doing what would actually be the best option if he weren't who he is. Besides, it's not like Snape can go to Albus and warn him that harry had a vision about it anyway... idk. I like Arthur Weasley usually, but I don't know how he survives this. Anyway, he really needs his fulgurs if he's ever going to improve enough to get out of that hospital I think. But they're not going to give him his usual doses until he improves. So it's like the weirdest catch 22 situation. If he doesn't improve, he can't get what he needs to improve. Would hope there's a way to let Draco visit over the holiday but I fear Lucius finding out and telling Voldemort that Snape has a son and him being slightly smarter than Dumbledore with the timing and realizing that Elias is Harry. Oh so much to worry about! So grateful for a new chapter though you've no idea. Thank you for posting, I know times aren't really easier with COVID and all

- But if he wants the hallows, why did he guve harry the cloak back? ... a necessary evil to let the rest of his plans go ahead i assume... he wouldve had the stone and the wand both as of 1st year, even the cloak up until Christmas that year. So he must know/believe that its something in Harrys power that he needs to activate the hallows... so it was never really about the horcrux at all. He just assumed he'd need harrys power because of the prophecy he heard so he kept harry where he'd be able to pick em up and use em whenever he was ready.... hmmm maybe... this manipulative old bat needs to take a long walk off a short cliff. What a wonderful update! Tonks finding that out about the Longbottoms hit me right in the feels. Imagine trusting someome with your life and your spouses life but also the life of your newborn son and your friend and your friends spouse and your friends newborn spouse... only to then have him let you down in the most unfathomable way. I wondet of alice or frank figured it out before they were tortured into insanity or after? Theyve certainly shown that theyre not just laying there thoughtlessly, theyre thinking up plans and acting them out. Maybe even storing up magic to take that old goat down i hope. - What a comeback! Talk about explosive!! Im glad you're back and writing but for this chapter that gladness is multiplied as my nephew would say "a bajillion hundred times" 🤭🥰 seriously, i loved the way you wrote it. I dont know half the terms but it wasnt confusing cause i could kinda guess at what was going on. I kinda hope tonks and kingsley figure it out so they can help keep it from dumbledore -- its gotten so far out if snapes control, i really dont see a way out of this without at least one of them dumbledore or voldemort figuring out who elias is-- but anyway, its amazing that it was his own research that is basically saving his life (or at least that gave them the idea). Wizards with their dependence on magic were ready to say good-night to the boy and here the nuggles are like idk what the weird renaissance freaky stuff is going on but okay lets fix the kid first and then call social services lol (i embellished) 😄

I'm including a list of terms at the bottom of the chapter (in super duper laymens terms too), but you'll come out of it able to better critique movies and TV shows. Also, yeah, we see weird things roll through the door all the time. Fix it first, deal with the weirdness later.

- Really interesting story! I hope Severus confronts Dumbledore, there's no way he didn't know about all this. Also, Im so worried for Harry after his meeting with Petunia. I don't know why but I have a feeling she'll try to con him into saying he lied or something so that the charges can be dropped. Anyway, can't wait to see the next update!

- I knew that witch would try something like that! Regardless of what harry wants, I fully believe further visits will only hurt him. He's had his visit, I say let him whine. No more petunia. Don't let her ruin what Harry's finally found : a family. But snape feels really guilty right now so chances are he'll give in and allow more visits 😞 anyway great chapter! P&S was suspended earlier for some reason but I was glad to see an update here when I finally got in

- I learned at an early age that the best way to shut up a bully is to shut him down. I'll admit, maybe it's not the healthiest expression of anger, but it's a sight better than internalizing it until it eats away at you. On that note, I see why they would go this route. Harry is a pretty abused child, mentally more than anything with the way petunia has his mind all messed up. The worst thing for this Harry would be to start using violence to get all his righteous fury out. Though I think he'll have at least more confrontation with Derrick (in my experience, you shut em down once, but they test you one more time to see if it was a fluke), u do hope he's able to deal with it better then
