When Harry finds an injured Snape on his doorstep and must hide him from the Dursleys, he has no idea that this very, very bad day will be the start of something good.
Harry and Snape are thrown together by annoying relatives, a series of strange dreams, and Voldemort's latest hunt for Harry, but their greatest challenge may well be surviving each other. This will be a long summer unless the two can find a way to work together. A slow-burn enemy-to-mentor story.

- I made an account purely to tell you this is undoubtedly the best Snape and Harry work I've ever read in all my years of reading fiction. I cannot begin to express just how amazed I am at how true to their book counterparts both characters are or how real the suspense is at this point. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

- If there was any doubt this is the best fic of its genre then the past few chapters erase that doubt: what perfect characterisation throughout. This last chapter blew me away entirely. I've reread your work from start to latest chapter a couple of times and it's so cohesive and flows so well, it makes hours melt into emotive minutes. You're an outstanding writer.
