Harry would never have guessed what moving to a new city with the Dursleys would mean. He also never would have guessed who his new neighbor would be, or that he was being watched... followed... stalked when he went out at night looking for food and safety.     Perhaps it's strange to start a review with a praise to another story but it needs to be done. Almost two years ago a read a story named "Love Thy Neighbour" by Alexannah. Well, actually I read it in translation to my native language and was delighted by it. But some time later when all the stories were read I find myself longing for more and hence had to turn to the English fandom.

    Yours story was the first one to catch my eye. If a remember right it must have been the "Camp". With that started my fascination with your works. They are mature, well-planed, and captivating. And even more, they are heartbreaking to a degree you really feel pain in your chest.

    And then I found another story written in responce to the challange "Neighbors" and was thrilled. But when I realized that the author was you it was as if Christmas came again.

    Back to the chapter, I really like the idea of supportive Gryffindors, because the last thing Harry needs now it's their distrustful attitude; and the idea of decrease in Slytherins' arrogance. They must be terrified with the prospect of inevitable servitude to Voldemort. I have no doubt that Umbridge will get hers if (well, when) she dares to harm Harry and Severus knows about it. The question is will Harry feel confident enough to tell him himself, will his friends do it, or will Severus find out himself?

    I'm looking forward for the next chapter.

    It pains me to see Severus desperately trying to save Harry's life even in cost of others' and at the same time knowing that the boy won't use the obtained knowledge to take a chance to flee. It shows Severus' dedication to his late friend and proves that he like others is just a human. But he'll let Harry die because, like no one else, understands that they both have their roles to play in this war.

    Author's Response: It really is tragic, the way that in these types of situations, some people selfishly refuse taking responsibility for other's health and even lives in favour of their own. and people like Severus who feel obligated to help or aid the person in question in any way are ostracized, and in the end, incapable of helping at all.
