I'm a Harry Potter fan, naturally, fifteen years of age and a sophomore in highschool. If you haven't already guessed, I'm an American (California to be exact--land of happiness and the current domain of the Guvernator).
My forays into the world of Harry Potter fanfiction began, essentially, with Fanfiction.net. I was an avid Harry Potter fan and a true geek, so when a fellow fan recommended it to me, I visited the site immediately. Those were back in the Dial-up internet Dark Ages for me, but I still managed to get addicted to fanfiction while waiting for the sites to load.
Now a happy cable modem user, I've branched out to other areas on the web about Harry Potter, from Mugglenet to this fantastic site right here. My recent love is Severus and Harry, nonslash, with a lot of angst and absolutely no Severitus. I got invited to Jan's site a while ago, and gladly accepted. Now I'm proud to be a member.
And so ends my fanfiction history. In the real world, I'm a geeky AP student with way too much homework and a tendency to procrastinate like nobody's business. I play the flute, 3rd chair now, and I'm a reporter in the newspaper club. I write during math class, break, occasionally lunch, always before school, and any time I have nothing to do. Which is rarely. So my updates are sporadic thanks to my teachers...bleargh.
In person, I'm very shy toward strangers, and talkative (well, maybe not quite that talkative) with my friends. I have a wry, sarcastic humor and a wide vocabulary that I can barely pronounce. Yes, I know the words on paper and can write with them, but how in the world does one pronounce "niche" and "perfunctory"?
Anyway, move along, nothing to see here, just your average strange highschooler who likes snails and physics. Oh, et Francais. J'aime beacoup le Francais. w00t! First year French student, and loving it. [Report This]
