Hi! I'm just a Australian university student who spends way too much time reading fan fiction.

It took me years to discover Potions and Snitches but my love of Harry and Snape all started with Severitus's magnificent story 'A Father's Sin'. You should rush and read it now if you haven't. It's still a WIP but well worth it.

Some things that annoy me about most Snape and Harry stories:

- any bonding between the two is usually contributed to by a Manipulative!Dumbledore. I just think that that is so out of character that if you need that sort of a catalyst in your story, make up a new character.

- I know that a lot of you out there love Draco but it annoys me how he turns up in just about every story featuring Snape. To me, he has no redeeming qualities and I can't see the attraction. To each their own I suppose.

- when Snape just falls apart and becomes a loving father/mentor/guardian/brother or whatever at the drop of the hat (usually because of Dursley abuse or something). It just makes me cringe when he's that gushy.

All in all I love the fandom and P&S. Good luck in your story hunting!
