About me:
	Hello! My name is Nikka and I'm a classical flutist and composer. “Ah, music," he said, wiping his eyes. "A magic beyond all we do here!” —Albus Dumbledore I adore writing, reading, and films. I've recently started reading fan-fiction and I am HOOKED! Sometimes I feel as if I live in the universe of Harry Potter, it has profoundly affected my view on life. Since I am a complete romantic, Severus Snape is easily my favorite character, and his unrequited love that saves the Wizarding World truly moves me. So of course, my phone wallpaper is a beautiful drawing of Severus casting the doe, with the word ALWAYS. My second-favorite persona is Sirius Black. He can be reckless, but also beyond wise and loving. He was one of my fictional mentors throughout my childhood! Some of his quotes actually summarize Severus perfectly: "You're not a bad person. You're a good person who bad things have happened to." "We've all got light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That's who we really are." (I have a poster of this one on my bedroom wall.) Severus definitely had a dark streak, but he eventually conquered it, and I believe that his hatred was almost more of an obsession towards Harry. He was like a surrogate father, and at the end, he chose to act on the love inside of him. My life’s motto is “love over hate”, and Severus's story proves that a single person's love can turn the tide from evil to good. I often feel attached to the Marauders era. My favorite ships are Snily, Harmony, Quirrelmort (STARKID!), and Severitus (as father/son of course). Honorable mention goes to Drapple. Dumbledore is absolutely fascinating as a character. I feel that he is a metaphor for God, as he can lead the way without providing direct answers. I love analyzing him. Another character that is extremely intriguing is Barty Crouch Jr. I personally believe he was a Ravenclaw, as he was an evil GENIUS! Where did the poor boy "who looked nothing short of petrified... shivering, his straw-colored hair all over his face, his freckled skin milk-white" go so wrong? Thinking about writing a long fanfic with his backstory. Thank you to all of the incredible authors and their stories published here. Sending you all of my gratitude and best wishes. Dumbledore says it perfectly (again): "Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?" And that's precisely how I feel about literature!
