Prompts by Foolish Wishmaker Summary: AU pre-Epilogue. Teddy Lupin is left an orphan with no one to take care of him. Harry is stubbornly determined to raise his godson, despite a lack of support from everyone he knows. He needs someone to be on his side... will that someone be the most unlikely person of all?
[Report This] Summary: It's after the war, and due to various circumstances it is impossible to prove that Snape was not a loyal Death Eater. To keep him safe he is enrolled at Hogwarts as a student in Harry's year. This can take place during any of the books or be completely AU.
[Report This] Summary: Harry, jumping in without thinking as usual, decides to practice turning into an animal while alone (possibly without even telling anyone of his plans to become an Animagus). He succeeds, but can't figure out how to turn back into a human.
[Report This] Summary: What if the Potters did not leave a vault full of gold to Harry? Penniless orphan Harry is about to start Hogwarts, but how can he do that when he can't even afford to buy a wand, let alone any of the things on the required list? Enter Severus Snape as an anonymous benefactor who has a few requirements in exchange for his generosity.
[Report This] Summary: A reversed Sevitus. Harry Snape grew up with his father. His mother, Lily, died to save him from Voldemort. At the same time as Harry is trying to deal with the awful knowledge that he is destined to face Voldemort and only one of them will survive the encounter, Harry also finds out the unthinkable -- Severus Snape is not his natural father!
Note: edited slightly by request.
[Report This] Summary: Stories where Snape winds up as the guardian of Harry are a dime a dozen. This time, what if Snape got not just Harry, but Dudley, too? So many unknowns. How will Dudley adjust? How will Harry and Dudley get along? How will Snape treat them? What will happen while Harry's at Hogwarts?
[Report This] Summary: Harry learns that a highly skilled Occlumens may be able to save Sirius from the Veil. Naturally, Harry has no reason to hope that Snape would agree to do such a thing. Instead, Harry asks to be taught Occlumency, which Snape does agree to do.
