Excuse my rambling though, I just had to get that out and I couldn't think of the proper way to say it.
~§~ Anyways, back to business(though we were never there) I may start beta'ing later on, though I'm not quite sure of everything it entails and I don't want to seem foolish. It's just like editing and proofreading in school, yes? I think I would make a good one if that's all, and I have extensive knowledge of the books, with the complete set on hand for reference on spellings. It took forever to finally remember how to spell "Mcgonagall" and I still get it wrong..One of my pet peeves is when writers get the facts wrong. It happened so much on FF.N that it drove me nuts. But no matter how annoyed, I will not hide behind a computer screen and flame. Not unless I've been given cause by something truly offensive and even then I'll do as Professor Snape suggests. "Hold your tongue!" Well, fingers in this case.
But I ramble yet again.
Just so it's clear, I don't write much at all, though I get the ocassional idea, I think the most I could ever manage is a feeble oneshot(and there's nothing wrong with them). As I've explained to one of my friends, I don't have that special magic needed to make the words feel right, but I get lots of the aforementioned ideas and I'm willing to share as long as credit is given where due.
