I only learned about fan fiction about 3 years ago, quite by accident. I had no idea there was actually a community of writers who like to play with other people's characters, over and over again. I have done this my whole life, but have always kept my stories to myself. And still do.
I am an avid HP fanfic reader. I get so much satisfaction from reading all of the clever work that's out there, I tend to avoid posting comments on individual stories simply because I'd rather use the time to find another story. I started a blog called The Fan Fiction Review, where I've posted some reviews over the past year and a half. I also am slowly building a community for writers like us called Up On Writing.
