Sorry, but I am a reader, not a writer.  I prefer AU stories centered on Snape, preferably ignoring the travesty that was Deathly Hallows.  I mean, really, it was WEAK.  And if JKR was going to kill off the one character who was arguably just as important (if not more so!) as Harry in how things turned out, the least she could have done was let him go out in a blaze of glory, taking a dozen Death Eaters with him, and impaling a hideous pink Umbridge on his wand as he fell.  But, NO, she dropped the ball there.

I am - obviously - a completely unabashed Snape-lover.  And while I will read the occasionally well written slash fic, and I do prefer a SS/OC, I have a weakness for SS/HP fics of the father/son or mentor type.  Apparently, this seems to be the place to be for that.  The very first fic I of this type that I read - and more importatly, ENJOYED -  was Obsidian Embrace's 'Lily's Charm'. So I followed her home.
