Or the sudden shift in his relationship with the Potter whelp. Not even those green eyes. No, nothing will ever change Severus’s hatred for Harry Potter – no matter how fond of him he was becoming. - I loved this chapter! I felt very sorry for both Severus and Harry, but especially Harry. He must be so confused as to why the professor is so angry and upset and struggling with the thought of Harry being taken away from him- the contrast between adult and child fears in this chapter are so brilliantly written- even thought they’re both worrying about the same thing, their fears and responses to their fears are so strikingly different at the same time! Can’t wait for the next chapter!

- I always come back to read this chapter specifically! The growing bond between Harry and Snape shines tenfold in this chapter amongst all others, that, and I smile like an idiot all the way through this chapter. Your Harry is just so cute! And Snape admitting that Harry is his foal! I love it!

After little Harry Potter runs away from his relatives’ home for the sixth time, Albus decides something drastic must happen. Instead of sending a friendly witch from family services like he had done before, he sends Severus Snape in hopes of scaring the boy into staying put. But when a blizzard interferes with plans, Severus learns why Harry keeps running away and a change of plans ensues.
