Summary: Harry learns that James was not his biological father – BUT neither is it Snape!
Suggestions: - Sirius is Harrys biological father as he was the Potters best friend and James only trusted him to provide his heir. That is the real reason why Harry inherits Grimmaulplace etc. OR - It is unclear who Harrys real father is, Sev is one of the choices OR - Sev is the one who tells harry that he is not James'. Maybe he was the one who created the potion for the donation? [Report This] Summary: Harry suffers from elective (not selective!) mutism. It means that he is physically able to speak but does not in most situations.
Suggestions: - Harry stops speaking after one of his many encounters with Lord Voldemort OR - Harry stops speaking before coming to Hogwarts, because of the abuse by the Dursleys OR - Harry decides to stop speaking because he doesn't feel like he'll be listened to and feels like he's being ignored in fifth year OR - Harry stops speaking to Snape at all but talks to everyone else, because whatever he says, Snape always warps it into something negative [Report This] Summary: Harry is sorted into Slytherin and very quickly Draco notices something isn't right about the Chosen One. Or, the potion splashes and Harry is healed but still looks burned no matter what they do.

Suggestions: I didn't want to limit you, so I didn't give you the whole idea I had, which was as follows: Draco (or any other student you choose) is abused by his parents, the abuse becomes public and Severus takes him out of the situation. He decides to take Draco at least for the time being. Harry is jealous of Draco getting to leave his abusive family in contrast to himself and lashes out at the other boy. He is not jealous particularly at being in Snapes care but generally at being rescued. But as time progresses and he sees how kind Snape is to Draco, he gets more and more jealous of Draco's particular situation. [Report This] |
