Boys are idiots. *shakes head* girls would never have gotten caught. lol...
Author's Response: Yes, well they're BOYS! Girls are always subtler and smarter. *smirks*
It will be interesting to see Smidgen work with Harry in his dreams. I really like the fairy cat. I hope she appears a lot more. I love learning more about the fae world. Great chapter!
Author's Response: She'll be in this story and the sequel a lot. I just love Smidgen!
I think that it's a fair punishment. I don't think they're going to be whaling on each other again. I thought Severus swore never to use corporal punishment because he didn't want to act like his father. Great chapter, I can't wait to read the next one.
Author's Response: No, they've learned their lesson I'd think. And Sev's version of CP is nothing like his dad's at all, and he prays he'll never have to use it on them even so. It's more for humilation than an actual spanking, he's trying to make them see that their behavior is way too childish and needs to stop, but if they keep beating on each other then he'll treat them like they were five again. And being treated like a child will be so humiliating for the two teenagers.
Dragons Wild sounds like a lot of fun. I think that next time I play poker with my siblings I'll suggest playing for chores. Harry's nightmare was exactly that, nightmarish. Great chapter!
Author's Response: That's a good idea! I hope it works. We used to do that all the time in my house. Oh yes, poor Harry and his dreams. I'll focus more on the dreams later.
I liked this chapter. It really showed how the boys relationship is developing. I hope they can become friends before Severus kills both of them and himself from having to listen to their disputes.
Author's Response: Yes their relationship is proceeding nicely but not fast enough for Severus, I think. Poor Sev. Being stuck with quarreling children is the worst.
I loved hearing about Draco's life and all the things expected of him as a pureblood. The race at the end was awesome! I hope that there is more of Sev, Draco and Harry just having fun together.
Author's Response: There will be. Draco really had it harder than anyone, especially Harry realized. I loved that race even though they knocked Sev down. Finally they're getting along and learning about each other.
Harry's treatment at the Dursley's was horrible! I think that Draco was better off. He could try to help himself and he wasn't a house elf. What a nice surprise for Sev to give them! Once I get back to school I'm sure I'll want a two hour nap too.
Author's Response: Yes, it was marginally better for Draco, but still pretty horrible. Harry at least has Sev now though. Me too, I want a two hour nap every afternoon at work!
I envy Draco and Harry, I wish I could fall asleep as easily as they did. It was interesting to learn more about Severus as a spy. It doesn't seem to follow the books. I'm confused to whether or not he took the Dark Mark as a spy. You said that he was disgusted by the ceremony and the wine mixed with blood, but then most people would be. Was he loyal until he heard the prophecy? Or is this story different from the books?
Author's Response: No, my version doesn't. Yes, he took the Mark, but he was never a real DE, he never joined them except to spy upon them at Albus's urging. Yes, he heard the prophecy, but couldn't save Lily in time. Or Harry either.
