i love this story :) and i also love the bunnies you so magnanimously provide :DDD i'm now considering reading your other story as well, since i like your style. hope it's not slash, since i'm currently fed up with it...
Author's Response: Yey!! I'm glad you like my story, and my bunnies. My other story is quite different from this one. Personally, I think it's better, though I love both. I usually don't give away plot info in reviews, but I can totally understand your concern, so I'll go ahead and tell you that Outcast's Alley is not slash. (Or at very least not with the main character) I'm kinda sick of slash, too. Like, how likely is it, really, that every male character in the Potterverse is gay? I mean come on.

Great game and the friends were as inventive as ever. Harry is right to not trust Dumbledore! Who will take Quirrels place looking for the stone? thank you for updating
Author's Response: Yey, glad you like!! And thanks for the review!
This was an awesome chapter. Wow Severus got to go home. I love the Slithindors they're awesome. Keep up the good work and please update ASAP. :)
Author's Response: :0) I ALWAYS update ASAP, it just doesn't always work out like I hope, unfortunately. LOL such is life. Thanks for the review!!

Fantastic chapter! Really, really good. You should be very happy with it. It was fun to see the interaction between Snape and Dumbledore. I like your Dumbledore. You give him three dimensions. The way Snape dispatched Quirrel was awesome.
Author's Response: Yey!! Glad you liked!! Thanks for the review!!
Oh that was nice! I thought that the characters were spot-on! Great job!
Author's Response: Yey!! Thanks!!
Don't apologize for being late. haha. You have a life, and this chapter was far from short anyway. Hehe. Lovely chapter. I will await the next one. Severus and Harry back together again, how shall it go?
Author's Response: LOL thanks, I needed that. I try to keep to a schedule, so I get really guilty when things take so long. Glad you liked the chapter, and thanks for reviewing! :0)

Is it wrong to enjoy Quirrel's sudden demise as much as I do? I think the dithering in cannon really produces a thirst for swift, decisive action. I'm a bit disappointed in Hermione-- not in the author's interpretation, mind you, but in the character's actions. At least she's admitting that she's lying to herself up front. Blaise doesn't disappoint, and I like the connection/relationship between Blaise and Hermione. Snape and Dumbledore's interactions are a highlight of the chapter... doesn't Snape ever notice quite how adolecent he's being? It's really funny to imagine the scene-- I always picture some physical tells, too-- a slouch or some hair flip to go with the attitude.
Author's Response: LOL I hope it's not wrong, 'cause I certainly enjoyed it. :0) And yeah, Snape tends to get just a bit childish around Dumbledore. :0)Thanks for the review!

Hopefully this won't ruin the relationship between Hermione and Blaise.
Author's Response: Hmmm...I hadn't actually thought about that. Thanks. I'll consider the question.
Well...at least we don't have to worry about Quirrell anymore. Blaise did the right thing when he told Severus about what he and Hermione discovered. I wonder if Severus has considered that if Blaise figured out the truth, perhaps others have as well?
Even though Harry isn't ready to admit it to himself, he relies on Severus to give him a sense of stability. He is beginning to see Severus as a parental figure, albet reluctantly, and he trusts him.
Great chapter!
Author's Response: Glad you liked!! And no, lol, we don't have to worry about Quirrell. At the moment he is taking a dirt nap. Pushing up the daisies. Crossing the river Styx. Worm food. Meeting his maker. Living in a pine condo. Living-challenged...ok I'm done. LOL. Thanks for the review!!
