great loved paul, he seems a good friend for harry, nice tv and games console. they dealt with the dreams in a good way, talking always helps in things, dreams or not, it was so sweet harry could offer sev reassurances aswell
I'm really glad that Harry and Paul are okay. So many things could have gone wrong. It's good that they were able to find ways to keep each other calm in their situation.
I wonder how long it will take for Severus to figure out that Major chose him, not Harry? Harry started all of this by getting Major to come out of his shell and trust a bit again, but he is too young for a cat like Major. Of course, Major does likes Harry, but I agree that Severus is a better match for him. They need each other and I think that Major will make Severus an excellent familiar.
Something does need to be down about those boys. One thing is clear; the animal shelter needs to make sure that they don't ever adopt any animal from them. Bart and his cohorts' behavoirs were atrocious and their bad intentions obvious.
Great chapter! As to your question, I think it would be a good idea to have Paul go with them. It will give Harry someone his own age to play with and will keep Paul out of the reach of that gang of bullies.

*chuckles* Two old warriors. Snape may not be a cat person, but that's usually the type of person that cats choose. Loved the chapter. Kudos on a job well done.
I LOVE Major! He's the perfect cat for Severus. A most excellent chapter.

I really enjoyed this chapter. I love Major! Typical cat. *grin* Now, I wonder if/when Paul will find out about Harry being a wizard. He should definitely go on vacation with them!
My only comment on Dumbledore going with them is "Eek!"
I like Major. He`s attached himself to Sev quite nicely.
