Great story! I have truly enjoyed reading this and would love to see what the next year brings to Harry and Severus. Thanks for writing this!

Oh, this was a lovely end to the tale! And please mark me down as begging for an eventual sequel! (Although I do hope that you complete Moon Fire very, very soon!)

    Well done!

Ah loved that telling off! they both really needed to get it said. It made me laugh when Severus told the two teens to keep the door open, so very parental :)

It's rather unfortunate that the Dursleys are so very thick...at least for them. You would think that after so long that they would have at least begun to get the point. Do they truly think that an innocent child deserved that kind of treatment? That how they were acting was in anyway morally sound?

I feel that Petunia was the worst of the lot. As Harry said, every time she did something hurtful to Harry or allowed someone else to, she was betraying her sister, who would never have done such things to Dudley. Lily would have loved Dudley as her own.

    Great chapter!

Harry's never going to keep his mind on his schoolwork back at Hogwarts with Meadowsweet close by!
I thought Harry might have shown a bit of compassion and asked Severus to cancel the curse on the Dursleys seeing as he'll never be going back there. I'm always a bit uncomfortable with permanent magical punishment being used on them, no matter how awful they are. Suppose it depends on whether you look at things from the "an eye for an eye...", or "two wrongs don't make a right" point of view.
Anyway, it's still a great story and I'm glad there's more to come.

Oh, wow! This has been fantastic read! And I'm thrilled the there's more to come!

I've truly loved this rollercoaster ride, and want to thank you for the chills, thrill, tears and laughter it elicited from me as I absorbed each chapter of the story so far.

I have to admit that the image that is going to stay in my mind for quite some time is our dear magicless Dumbledore on a surfboard! That was just absolutely hysterical!

Your characterization was wonderful, I loved meeting Jace Witherspoon's family, and Vince Crabbe's too. The bad guys were believably scary, and I thought your ideas on the destruction of the horcruxes were much more exciting and heartrending than the ones in canon! I envy you your imagination! :) In a good way, of course!

Looking forward to upcoming chapters! Well done!

Intense. Very intense. I think I have seen Ladyhawke, but for some reason I can't remember it very well. I know Princess Bride though. Watched that enough times that I'm starting to memorize my lines. *snicker* Avon calling. Kudos on a wonderful chapter.

I'm glad that Harry's birthday party went so well. They all had fun and in the end that's what's important.

Now that Harry has learned of Ginny's crush, I wonder what he is going to do about it. All I know is this; he had best take care of it quickly before someone gets hurt. I would hate to see his relationship with Meadowsweet ruined because of his best friend's little sister's crush.

Irk....I don't really like Ginny being the jealous one. But it was a good chapter. Kudos on a job well done.

Author's Response: It has to be her, Meadowsweet already knows Harry loves her and she wouldn't regard Ginny as any kind of threat to their relationship, merely an annoyance.  Ginny is a typical adolescent with a crush on a boy, and it's only natural for her to react that way when she sees Harry and Sasha together. She doesn't know her, and knows only that there's something serious between them, and she doesn't like the fact that a stranger, and one not even all human, has come in and "stolen" her crush away from her. It's a very touchy situation.
