    That was sad. I was surprised that Narcissa was willing to put forth her opinion after Lucius hit her the first time. I'd have thought she'd be too scared and just go along with whatever he said.

    Poor Draco, feeling betrayed by Severus, someone that he clearly trusted. I hope that he can perhaps be convinced that Severus himself has not changed--he will continue doing what he thinks is right, no matter what anyone else thinks. Really, that would be a good example for Draco to see.

    Great chapter--I look forward to reading more.

    I think Sirius is going to furious about his godson and I hope that Dumbledore lives with this guilt for a while before finding out where Sev and Harry are. He deserves it, the *&%^#*@.

    I really like this story. I have to ask, are you from the very northern midwest? Like northern Minnesota. There's a specific turn of phrase you used that you normally only hear in those area, so I was curious.

    Great chapter, Ivy! I think your story has a lot of depth and promise. The Malfoys are well-portrayed here. Right now Draco is unsure of what to do. He doesn't want to be a Death Eater and is hoping that Harry will defeat Voldemort, but he sees Severus' role of spy as a personal betrayal. I hope that he will come to see that if Voldemort is to be destroyed, that everyone needs to do his/her part. Trying to stay out of it, to stay neutral, isn't enough. As a Sltherin, Draco could also be helpful to Severus once the school year begins, especially if other Slytherins are up to no good. I think it's going to be really interesting to see what happens.

    And don't be discouraged. Write your story as you have envisioned; it's wonderful!

And I'm so glad you liked Draco in this. After all, he's still a kid, and he has a lot of stuff thrusted upon him that he doesn't want, so thanks for reviewing that.     As soon as I saw mention of a Malfoy, I was beyond excited! *reads*

    OOH! I LOVE YOUR MALFOY FAMILY! (They're a little different than what I'll be doing with them, but I LOVE THEM FOR YOU!!!) I LOVE how your Narcissa is just...I LOVE HER! Your conflicted Draco is VERY interesting. I think that many people can identify that while they hate someone, and they may vent to wish them dead, they never truly do wish their death upon them. Nicely handled. (Ooh! *wags finger at you* I had a similar idea there for my story...You should know it when you read my Malfoy chapter... You beat me to it, though I think it is a supported theory...You'll know it, my dear.) Oh man, your Lucius is off the deep end! I LOVE IT!

    I am loving your Narcissa too. She's not openly defiant, but still is. And that last moment with Draco and the picture...WONDERFUL! This was my favorite chapter you've written for this story! Very intense, very emotional, and very clear! (AND IT HAS THE MALFOYS!) I am one very happy Slytherin, my friend.

    Typo Alerts: "...Mudblood girl that we had captured, and then appearated away..." Change to "apparated." "Narcissa sat very still, as though she was in a lion’s pin." Change "pin" to "pen." "Lucius’s voice dropped into smoldering anger, just waiting to irrupt again." Change "irrupt" to "erupt." "“If you have any or me in you, then you will see..." Change "or" to "of."

Sorry for stealing your idea, but again, I think everyone kinda feels a little for Draco in that way. I can honestly say I've felt the same what Draco does here about Harry. (though I've never heard my father plot to kill that person!) But I'm really glad everyone's liked Narcissa. I always thought she'd have to be a strong person, considering her sister, her family, and, well, to put up with and handle Lucius. So one hundred points to you for liking this! I've gotten some interesting reviews on this, but yours is in my top three favorite for this chapter! Have a smile! :D

    Hi Ivy, me again! I just had to review again, because I have something to say!

    First of all, to the reviewer that said they didn't like stories where Malfoy go to live with Severus and Harry. Why on earth do you assume that you know that that is going to happen in this story?

    I amazes me how people just assume they know what a writer has planned for his or her story. This is the third story where I've seen that happen. Reviewers have writtent the story off because they think they know what the writer is going to write instead of waiting to see what awaits you.

    I'm not fond of Snape adopts Draco stories either, but we don't even know that that's going to happen, and if it does, well it's IVY'S STORY!!!! And because I love her writing, I will not stop reading it even if that does happen.

    Oh, and secondly, good job Ivy, you have me really intrigued. Can't wait for the next chapter.

    HAZZAH TO PANDORA!!!! You're awesome! Have I told you that lately? Five hundred thousand points to you!! (and this time you get to keep all of them!) I'm sooooo happy with this review! And in response to this, I have to say to everyone; when have I every really done what you've expected? Honestly! Just keep in mind people that my favorite character is SNAPE and along with him HARRY! While I like Draco, and I can say he'll have a major role in this story, he will not be equal to Sev and Harry in this one.

    So to everyone who doesn't like Draco moving in on Harry and Sev I say: WAIT!!! Please don't write me off yet. I've got plans enough for Draco, Harry, and Sev, but it's not going to be what you think. Just WAIT! So, if you like my writing so far, please, PLEASE keep reading and reviewing, because I really enjoy it when people are happy with my works, but if you KNOW what's going to happen (which none of you really do) then you can discard this story. But since you've all stuck with me for 20 some chapters, don't you think it would've been a waste if you don't even finish it?
