Reviews For Alea Iacta Est
Those coloring stones sound interesting, I don't think I've ever heard of them. Haha, Severus is ever the teacher, ""Organization is a key to receiving high marks," Severus passed him the next bag; its charmed removed so Harry could see a handful of binders and dividers lining the bag. "A different color binder for each subject to keep your notes and assignments in an orderly fashion." " That part made me smile. It looks like you did your research for the sizes. Yeah, I'm pretty good at picking out American sizes as well (I guess almost nine years of working at Kohl's will do that to you) I loved the scene with Hermoine, that was awesome! This sentence was the best, ""Why do you care?" Harry whispered" I am looking foward to you writing more. I really wanna know and to see the things Severus brought Harry for entertainment. Also looking forward to more agnst. Oh I was wrong before, the child in "Letters to God," has a brain tumor, not Leukemia, the review I read had it wrong. I've since read the book-an excellent read. I liked the return of Harry's insecurities. You are rather good at those cliffies. Author's Response: Thanks, autumn! I found those coloring stones while I was looking up kindergarten sized pencils. They look like fun as long as you're not coloring in small spaces. Severus can't help but be a teacher, he's been one for well like 14 years. Ha, isn't it amazing how you can like look at a person and guess their size? Or how you seem someone take something and you just know by looking that it won't fit them whether too small or too big? Yay, I'm glad you liked the cliffy sentence ending. It just felt right to end it there.
Author's Response: Thanks! The next chapter should be up in a few hours.
Author's Response: More? How about tonight? Thanks!
Author's Response: I don't know if Severus will find the right words, but he figured something out. Thanks!
It's so hard for him to believe that he is important to others just as he is. Author's Response: With the way his relatives treated him, it was just ingrained into his brain that he's worthless. He can say he doesn't think he's worthless, but those words stay with him. It'll take some time before he truly believes otherwise. Thanks!
Harry's size doesn't seem about right. I'm size 12, that's not small but not large. I don't know about men's, but very skinny or underweight women sizes are 6 or 8. Not that it matters too much. I'm very curious as to how Severus is going to answer that. Update soon? *Offers muffins* Pretty please? Fabs Author's Response: Thanks! It was a mean cliffy, but what can you do? It happens sometimes. ;) You're right that a size 12 is a medium size for women. Harry's clothes though are from the boys department, not mens, which according to my UK research is by age, so generally a 16 year old boy wears a 16. You probably skipped right over the word when you read it or read it, but didn't process it. ;) Is tonight quick enough to still get muffins?
Do you know someone who has same problems like Harry and isn't insecure? I love the part with Harry's concern about morphine. Now I'm waiting for Severus answer. Hermione's mum was excelent especialy her comment about finishing summer homerwork :o) Nice long chapter PS: I'm red, how could i write 3th. English isn't my native language but this was... so idiotic Author's Response: You're very welcome! I don't know someone who has the same problems as Harry, but I have a few friends that as teens had more problems than Harry, if that's even possible. lol. I can see some shades of that in Harry, but Harry is his own character. Thanks!
Author's Response: Thanks! You'll have your answer soon. We won't see Ron or Hermione in the next chapter, but we'll hear from Ron. ;)
V. Author's Response: Thanks! I hope you like the next chapter!
Author's Response: *Throws ball back* You'll get to know his answer very soon! I'm so, so happy you picked up on the fact that while Harry's cancer is a major storyline, it's not the whole plot, but part of a bigger journey. Harry and Sev will be getting along for a bit, at least in the next chapter. Thanks! |
