Harry needs help!! I hope Sev has noticed more than Harry wanted. I'd like to take a light saber to Voldie and cut him up into little pieces, burn them and then bury them in the deepest, darkest hole possible! So angry he won't leave Harry alone.

    Author's Response:

Nice idea with Volemort. I have no objection if you wish to borrow him and carry that idea out. Harry certainly needs help, but I'm sure Severus noticed more than Harry wished. Thanks!

Oh happy birthday, and what a lovely gift--this chapter!!

Poor Harry. It doesn't end, does it? Now he's having visions.

Harry needs a break, the poor kid.

Oh, please update soon, because you've left us with a cliffie again!! Great chappie as usual though.

Author's Response: Thanks! Harry definitely deserves a break. I have some good news lined up for him so perhaps a break is coming.

Well as a New Orleans resident, born and raised...I have to say I love beads and Mardi Gras! But I really wouldn't need incentive to review. Happy Birthday, btw!

Poor Harry, Voldemort's a bastard! I like the emotion though, and I absolutely LOVE that Molly Weasley is sending Dumbledore a howler every hour on the hour. That is fantastic!!!

I hope Harry can find it in his heart to be forgiving, and that Severus continues to try and get through to him. It must be so hard to be so helpless.

    Great work!

    Author's Response:

Mardi Gras is such a fun time of year, isn't it? My university is so stupid when it comes to it. We have Fat Tuesday off, but not the Lundi Gras, the day before Tuesday, whatever you wish to call it. It doesn't make sense at all, but usually most professors decide to have a "library or conference day" scheduled for that day.

Yay, I'm happy to hear you love the howlers. Molly isn't the type of person to just let something go, and I thought it was a funny light element to throw in.

I'm sure Harry will find it in his heart to forgive Severus, but it was quite a shock to him and shattered his dreams a bit. Severus won't give up trying to get through to Harry. He understands the feelings Harry is experiencing and feels like he should've done something to ensure a situation like this didn't happen. Thanks!

I hope Severus noticed how bad Harry is. Cruciatus curse can't be helpful ontop of cancer and chemo. Why can't the Dark Lord just crawl into a hole and die?!? Looking forward to the next chapter. :-)

Author's Response: I'm sure Sev noticed how bad Harry is. He certainly wasn't a spy who just got by on his luck. You're right that the Cruciatus curse can't be helpful on top of his cancer and chemo treatments. We'll see how that plays out very soon. Thanks!

I hope that Albus feels attacked from every direction, because he deserves it for what he did to Severus and to Harry. I'm saddened by the fact that Harry is blaming Severus for this when it wasn't his fault at all. I'm glad that Severus told Minerva. She will be an excellent ally to have at his side and she won't take any nonsence from Albus.

I wish that Harry had told Severus about the attack on his mind. The only way to receive help sometimes is to ask for it and while I know he's angry, does he really wish to risk his life just to hurt his father?

    Great chapter!

    Author's Response:

Don't worry, Albus will be feeling attacked for quite a while. Harry feel abandoned and of course naturally he'll blame Severus at first even though it's not all his fault. He'll have to come to terms with the fact that maybe what Severus did was for his own good. Of course right now, it's hard for Harry to sympathize with Sev when Sev himself doesn't have any of the necessary tangible memories to express the feelings he was experiencing at the time.

Harry should've told Severus about the attack. In his mind, Harry feels betrayed and hurt which is superseding anything else at the moment. He's also angry about Severus going against his wishes concerning his chemo treatments, and in a way he's thinking that if he were to mention the vision it might mean more painful tests or medicines that don't work. Thanks!

You did a wonderful job with the chapter! The letter coming to inform Severus of Harry's parentage added just a little touch of mystery. Of course Severus is shaken and unsure of how to feel, poor guy. He's had a lot on his plate already, and now a bomb just dropped on him, lol. But a good bomb, I'm sure!

And I just wanted to tell Sev not to be stupid when Minerva came and offered to sit with Harry...if anyone short of Voldemort comes to give him a chance to catch up on his sleep, he'd darn well better take it, lol!

He needs to follow the adage that parents of a newborn quickly learn: You sleep when they sleep, cause you might not get another chance.

    Great chapter again!

    Author's Response:

I'm happy to hear you liked the letter. I wanted to do something different a bit different than I've read before. Sev is shaken. He's a bit confused because he doesn't know exactly what to think yet, but if there's one thing we know about Severus. He won't rest until he gets his answers.

Severus totally hasn't learned the whole sleep when they sleep thing yet. I think maintaining control and not relinquishing that even for a few hours is one way he's coping. Don't worry, Minerva will knock some sense into him. Thanks!

Great chapter, Ella! I'm so impressed at how well you wrote the mental attack by Voldemort...I'm just not that creative myself to come up with things like that, but you made it seem so real.

Thank goodness Severus was able to help Harry..that was a vicious attack, and with Harry already weakened he just doesn't have the strength to fight Voldemort right now.

And when Harry worried that Severus was going to change back, that was so sweet and sad, but also very real and believable. Of course Harry would worry about that, because things were so bad between them and now have changed so completely.

Glad that these Occlumency lessons are off to a good start!

    Author's Response:

Thanks! Don't doubt yourself. You're quite creative, too. ;)

Severus was definitely in the right place at the right time. He's the right person to oppose Voldemort mentally as he knows Voldemort's mind probably better than anyone. Harry is weakened. Let's just hope Voldemort didn't sense it.

Harry's insecure, which is only natural. It'll take some time for him to really believe Severus isn't going to change back to the snarky git.

The Occlumency lessons are off to a good start, but I suspect the lessons won't take place as much as Severus would like to considering Harry's weakened state.
