Author's Response: You'll find out the answer to that in the next chapter. Draco should be able to escape Lucius if Narcissa allows him to stay with Andromeda. Andromeda should be able to keep him safe, she didn't have wards raised against Lucius before because they were decieving him about the school. but now that he's disowned Draco, Andromeda will raise the wards against him. Severus has all he can handle with Harry and Hermione, it wouldn't be fair to throw another kid at him. I've just updated!

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! Amazing chapter as always. Excellent interaction. One thing I noticed: you said "the four of them ate in relative silence," and "Hermione sent out four plates". There was only three that I could count. Harry, Hermione and Severus. Did I miss something and Draco was there? Author's Response: Thanks so much. When I was writing that part, I was setting my own table for dinner and we had four people, so that's how that ended up being four instead of three. Thanks for telling me. I have fixed it! I just love sticking it to that arrogant SOB! Yes, and that's why Selene had no mercy upon him. But he may get a second chance after some centuries go by and he's reincarnated as a dog. How embarrassing for Danae! Doesn't she realize that it's never a good idea to seem too desperate? I'm glad that Jack was there to rescue Draco from her clutches. I hope that Danae will learn patience and to watch her attitude or she might find herself on the wrong side of Selene's temper! I think that Draco feels better knowing that Harry too had to be rescued from the wiles of Danae. I wonder if Hermione will ever get them to explain.... Author's Response: Oh yes, she is! And Lucius will never live it down, especially if someone manages to leak it to the Prophet. *smirks wickedly* Peter deserved to die, but Selene doesn't favor torture. She likes it quick and neat. She's actually a nice dryad, but young, only a century and a half, so she had some issues with patience . . .Selene forgives a lot. Draco does feel better, as it;s always nice to find out that someone else has been through what you have. Uh probably not! It's the sort of thing they would want to keep to themselves, LOL! Oh and I nominated your story for Featured Story status. :)
