I'm extremely shocked. The chapter is well written, which I'd be surprised if it wasn't, knowing you. I was right, though, Snape found Hermione home safe, I did not foresee him losing himself though. I was also shocked that Hermione already spoke to Selene. I guess I thought she'd be a bit more vague for a bit longer. I agree with some of your other reviewers in that Hermione may become an initiate as well, but I thought she'd have to start from scratch as well. Do they call Mrs. Tonks first, or do they attempt to heal him, or at least make him human again, before summoning help? I hope the fairy (Selene?) girl comes to help.

I think that the Grangers would be content with knowing that their daughter is alive. I hope that Harry and Hermione will be able to help Severus find himself again. I wonder what the spell that hit him was?

    Great chapter!

Heartbreaking and beautifully written. You captured the horror of what happened to the Grangers quite well, showing how one moment they were enjoying dinner and the next, Hermione's world shattered around her. That is how tragedies often take place, when we least expect them and seldomly with warning. I am eagerly awaiting the next chapter and seeing how Hermione and Harry work together to restore Snape to his rightful mind.

It seems like Harry is beginning to become comfortable with Severus and testing the boundaries of what he can and cannot do and what will happen to him if he pushes Severus. I like how realistic you wrote this stage of their relationship and how you left us hanging worrying about Hermione. Now I am wondering how she will fit into the rest of the story and am excited to see what will happen next.

poor harry, not knowing about sev and hermione. You know who the "girl" he was talking to in the paddock reminds me of, Luna, very mystical and a little out there. Please don't leave us hanging too long.

Oh no! I hope that Severus will get there in time to save Hermione. I wonder if she will also become an initiate in time?

I'm more sure than ever now that the little girl is Selene. She is testing him...judging his heart. I think that talking to her is helping Harry to find focus and to understand Severus better.

    Great chapter!

I like the little girl, of course she's probably a century or two old. Maybe she'll keep Harry company until Severus gets back. I know Sev will save Hermione just fine, he's too talented at that sort of thing to not, so I'm thinking about what Selene will have Harry do. For now I'm going to see if I've already asked you for some of your Selene sources. She sounds SO familiar, like I've already knew about her under a different name, but when I do a search on her I get the Latina singer.
