    I really like how this is playing out so far. I don't normally read fics where Harry is sorted into Slytherin but I like everything about this, especially how Harry seems to be making friends with Draco and Blaise, I like how you are characterizing all of them. Great job!!

    Author's Response: I know, I've been very mean keeping you all in suspense like this. However, did I want to give this fic a sense of realism: although Severus is pretty canny and has a fair few resourses at his fingertips, putting together a case against someone takes time (and, of course, whilst Severus is gathering evidence, Harry is settling into Slytherin). I hope the daily updates make the suspense bearable!

    I'm glad to see Harry making friends so readily in Slytherin. I wonder if Draco will become less full of himself in time? lol

    I can't wait to see what Severus is going to do to dear old Petunia. I hope he is deliciously mean to her.

    I will give you three things to think upon:

    1. Severus has a book written by Slytherin.
    2. Slytherin was very... practical in his approach to child protection.
    3. As we know from chapter 2, Slytherin was brilliant and had a dark sense of humour.

    Three guesses as to the content of a fairly long chapter of the aforesaid book ;)

    Wow. Go Severus, go! And I like extremely how Poppy is being involved in this story. Harry must be a mess.. are any of his bones going to have to be re-broken and set? Poor kid. I like all the memories you added in too. Well done. Thanks for the update! Please keep writing!

    Thanks for the review. I really enjoyed writing those letters; I've always found it entertaining when writers construct letters between characters in third person narratives, it allows insights which, otherwise, would be tricky to portray.

    I hope that they will be able to convince Dumbledore that they are right. If they can't they will have to go to the Ministry. They must protect Harry for that beastly woman.

    The plot is definitely thickening here as we draw nearer and nearer to seeing and hearing the truth of what Harry suffered at the hands of his aunt. Another great chapter. I look forward to reading more.

    These letters revealed quite a bit about the relationship between Lucius and Draco as well as between Draco and his mother. It is great that Draco has, in essence, been given permission to befriend Harry and to dispense of certain pureblood traditions as a result. It is also interesting that Lucius urges Draco to look into Harry's behavior as their house elf was poorly treated by her previous family. Hopefully Harry will find a great ally in Draco and the Malfoys. I look forward to reading more.

    Author's Response: Thanks for the review ^^ Lucius is primarily a politician and Harry Potter is a fantastic alliance: it's definately worth Lucius and Draco making a few concessions to win Harry over. However, instead of manipulating Harry, the Malfoys may find themselves dancing to his tune lol!
