The Hat was quite accurate in its assessment of Harry IMHO. No way was he going to be a Lion. And I've always maintained that Slytherin would ruin Harry. Just like the Hat said, it would shut down any opportunities for Harry to develop emotionally and find his own path. He would be forced to become a cold, heartless and somewhat cruel and vengeful person just to survive.
Ravenclaw is always the best choice IMHO for a kid that has even a smidgen of complexity in their personality.
Really happy to see another update from you!
I like how the ideas from the previous "To Trust" are incorporated into this version with an older Harry, for example the deterioration of Harry's condition due to his magic compensating for his health, how different and yet how similar also an older and weaker Harry reacted to Snape's ministration.
Did Harry kill Voldemort then, when he blasted the bundle out of Wormtail's hands? And whose blue-grey eyes did Snape see? And is the tall thin figure at the scene with flickering streetlamps Dumbledore? So many questions? Do we get a continuation to this version? :)
I like both versions, by the way.
Please, please continue these. Your writing is lovely and incredibly engaging.
You my friend are a great writer.
Been waiting on this 3rd one for a while gotta say it was well worth it xD
Please keep the updates flying our way! This was so incredibly sweet
This was really great! I was wondering if you'd mi!d if I made a comic or animatic for this or your other work? I'd love to try and draw the raw emotions Harry is feeling here. :D
Author's Response: I would love to see some artwork! I'm really flattered that you asked :)
I'm glad we found out what happened to Jade. Harry has probably been worried about her. It may be helpful for Severus to have someone with experience to talk to when he is concerned with Harry's behavior, too.
I hadn't expected Ravenclaw though Harry is certainly intelligent. I wonder why Hermione wasn't ever sorted there? I suppose Rowling needed her in Gryffindor with the boys.
Author's Response: I think Hermione was sorted into Gryffindor because, at her core, she is one. She operates like a Ravenclaw, certainly, but she intuits morals, and those morals drive her actions more than her pursuit of knowlege.
Very sweet! I hope you post again soon xx
