Gosh I'm not sure where I'd like to see you go with this, but I know I don't want to see Harry holding anything back! I want others to see just how intelligent Harry is, but without 'Mione's know-it-allness. Harry always had great potential, but Rowling chose to hobble him with Ron, but then Rowling chose to handicap 99.9% of her characters, except Fumbledick, the MOB!

I had speculated (I have quite spirited discussions with myself;-D!) that perhaps 'Jade' was magical, too, but then, as your original story progressed, I became increasingly convinced that Jade had been killed by her step-father and had only hoped that Harry would eventually discover the truth of her 'disappearance'. Was Jade older than Harry and could she already be at Hogwarts? If Jade knew Harry's name, from when they used to 'escape' for awhile and since she would have surely heard of 'Harry Potter' after arriving at Hogwarts, why wouldn't she have made the connection and maybe have alerted...Whoops, I forgot: Complete lack of trust in adults. Ah well!
Anyway, great oneshot, but I'm a little confused about why you 'couldn't' do a sequel and opted to write these oneshots, instead?
Also, I'm slightly surprised, that after the technical skill you displayed in your first story, to see quite a few typos and grammar errors in this. Were you in a great hurry or were you forced to type on an unfamiliar medium, like an iphone (I believe the 'i' stands for idiot, myself.)
Anyway, thanks for sharing more of this story with us!

Lovely chapter so glad to see Jade at last! I would love to see Harry in class and also with the Ravenclaws, could you possibly make Luna a year older and have her as a friend to Harry as she would be very accepting of him, also for him to be friendly with Hermione and Neville and for them to study together. I would also like a little more Dumbledore bashing! Thank you
