Summary: Sirus Black and his friend James Potter were abusers. Now Sirus is after Harry. With Harry being so love-starved and those around him so oblivious, will Snape be able to save Harry the way he could not save Lily?

In a lot of stories Harry is more powerful than anyone else, while Snape, who appears to be equally if not more powerful is diminished.

Summary: During Harry's first year at Hogwarts, Severus is expecting a James look-a-like and instead is faced with a child who looks exactly like himself. He is confused and shocked by this as is everyone else.
How is it James Potter's son looks just like Severus Snape, Half Blood Prince? And so begins the angst and mystery of Severus learning that he is worthy and capable of being a Father, and all that intails. Bonus: Would like Lupin to be in the story and Sirius too, at some point but it isn't really necessary. [Report This] Summary: After the final battle, Harry is severely wounded and falls into a coma. The staff at Saint Mungos can't heal him, and offer to deage him. The decision falls to Severus.

Severus finds Lily and James dead, Voldemort dead... and one small baby boy alone in the wreckage of the house. What does he do?

What if Severus realized as he was dying or after he died that Harry and he could have had much better lives if he had been less prejudice and seen behind the boy's uncanny resemblance to James Potter? Perhaps it would have been better if he had retrieved Harry from the Dursleys'? Or if he had decided to take Harry in after his first year? Both men are either offered a choice by the fatesand death or taken backwards by an older type of magic to change time, how do they react? Do they even realize that the other has been affected by their "old future" selves? What does Snape think about this? Was it his idea? Does he intend to help? Or hinder the process to protect Harry or Snape's own worth as the best Order spy?

During the later part of first year, young Harry has had the companionship and protection of a big, black dog (Sirius in his animagus form). During this same stretch of time, Harry has been growing closer to a certain Potions Master, who finally adopts the boy. He tells Harry, though, that he may keep the dog, but he'll have to be neutered. Unfortunately, Sirius missed this conversation... [Report This] Summary: The nightmares and memories from Voldemort keep Harry up at night. His only undisturbed sleep is in the early morning, coincidently when his classes are. What happens when Harry starts falling asleep during class and/or skips classes to sleep in?
[Report This] Summary: Takes place during The Prisoner of Azkaban (3rd year). Instead of having the entire student body sleep out in the great hall it is decided that Sirius Black's main target will be protected. Harry Potter, and perhaps his friends, are placed with Hogwarts Professors overnight. Whose idea is it, how long will this last, and how do Snape and Harry take it when Harry is forced to room with Snape?
