[Report This] Summary: Eileen is alive and lives close to the Dursleys. She has some type of relationship to Severus where they write letters or occasionally talk. She keeps going on about the poor boy from the neighborhood, always willing to help with yard/housework, always hungry, seems abused or neglected-but so sweet. Severus thinks she might be getting a bit demented in her old age. When Severus finally comes to visit over the summer he discover the identity of the mystery boy- Harry Potter. Can take place any time, or over several years.
[Report This] Summary: Harry Potter finds a time turner in his dad's vault --he was james potter, of course he's got some illegal stuff in there!-- and decides he's going to meet his parents. He promises himself he won't screw anything up, he just wants to meet them..... But he's Harry Potter so plans go awry pretty quickly.

[Report This] Summary: Albus Dumbledore loves music.
Music brings people together. He decides to set up a choir at Hogwarts, to ensure that the houses strengthen the union between them. He then calls the Weird Sisters to teach the students singing. However, not all students will be chosen to be part of the school choir. Many are good but 2 second (or third, the choice is yours) year have an extraordinary voice: Harry James Potter and Draco Malfoy. The members of the Sisters decide to make the choir compete with the other European schools (magical and / or not, the choice is yours) in a competition and to make both boys become the main voices. The 2 kids will have to put aside their struggle to make the choir work and try to win the competition. To practice they will have to live practically 24 hours a day together and guess who will be their guardian? -Harry is not at all happy to enter the contest, as he hates popularity. Draco will be the one to convince him. -Harry and Draco obviously become very close friends. NO SLASH. -Severus will discover the physical, verbal and mental abuse that the two children suffered in their childhood. -A song will be the one that will make Harry and Draco understand the true meaning of FAMILY and it will be the one they will bring into the competition. -Both boys have the same lines to sing. Song chosen by you. -The choice is yours whether they will win or finish in second place. -Harry and Draco will be adopted by Severus. Sorry for my bad english, but I am Italian. I try to learn english reading fanfictions! [Report This] Summary: With current events and so many being trapped indoors, it got me thinking creatively about a challenge. The basics are Harry, Snape, and Remus are trapped somewhere together for 15 or 30 days, ie they literally cannot get out. The where, how, and why are up to you. Here is the real challenge:
In this challenge I challenge you to move beyond your comfort zone. If you don't normally do comedy, infuse some into this. If you're not good at dialogue, really dig deep with this one and practice it to make it as realistic as possible. If you've never written from 1st person or in present tense but have wanted to try it, do it here. Maybe you've never written a really deep emotional scene or thought process, or have never attempted a battle scene. This is your chance to work out how to do that, or at least, this is my challenge to you: find something you'd like to try or want to work on and get out of your comfort zone on this story. [Report This] Summary: Harry Potter is the ONLY wizard in the entire world. Wizards don’t exist. The entire wizarding world is not a thing and never has been. And Harry begins to think that he really is a freak, just as his relatives said. Still, he is invited to Hogwarts, a regular, non-magic, boarding school in Scotland- and tries his best to conceal his “freakishness” from the students and teachers there. However his powers can’t be contained during emotional outbursts, and this often lands Harry into a lot of trouble. But chemistry teacher Professor Snape has a sharper eye than most, and soon begins to realise that this “mischief-maker” Potter is in fact a very gifted young boy.
[Report This] Summary: A relatively benign illness is making it's way around Hogwarts. Basically a type of cold that wizards can sometimes get. It's contagious, and aside from your typical cold symptoms, the major symptom is that it makes you tell the truth like veritaserum would. This would make for an interesting longer one-shot or a short multi-chaptered story.
Questions to consider: - What Kind of havoc would this wreak amongst students and staff when sick people are suddenly telling people the truth about what they think about them? - Not everybody gets sick, so which of our main characters do get sick and what kinds of things will they say when they can no longer help it? - Will opinions of people be changed or reinforced? Other Thoughts: - This would be interesting in any number of different Harry and Snape scenarios so get creative. Ideas: Harry and Snape are already father/son with a good relationship. Or Harry and Snape are father/son with a bad relationship. Or Harry and Snape are your typical teacher/student with their normal bad relationship. Or perhaps Snape is headmaster or acting headmaster while Dumbledore is out (or sick and quarantined), and must deal with this outbreak. Or this happens when Harry is older and he's a teacher at the school and so is Snape (or Snape is Headmaster there). Or maybe ALL of the staff gets sick and the students end up taking care of the staff and the school. SO MANY POSSIBILITIES! The only rules are no slash. [Report This] Summary: Write a story involving Severus dancing. Any kind of dancing. Not because of any kind of magic, but because he actually wants to.
