Snape finds out that corporal punishment is not the best option by slashypotterness

Summary: So there are plenty of fics where Snape spanks Harry and quit a few where Harry has been abused and learns the difference between a beating and a spank. I, being against spankings, would like to see a fic where Snape learns that there is not a HUGE difference, at least not in Harry’s mind and realizes that he’s making things much worse for Harry by punishing him that way.

Must have: Snape spanking Harry but realizing over time that he is making things worse for the boy.

Options:

• Severus can be: his real father, adoptive father, guardian or Dumbledore could just give him a right to discipline him-go wild with it.
• Harry can be abused or he just could be overly sensitive to being hit, ether way’s fine by me.
• Since I’m a psychology major I have to add that it would be an interesting twist if Harry had some sort of psychological issues and being hit could throw him into an “episode” of sorts.
