You present the Mirror as a concrete addiction in Harry's physical wellbeing, not just a psychological obsession. I'd never really thought about it like that, although Dumbledore had mentioned people wasting away... Very perceptive, and well done!

Lovely short story!
Author's Response: Thank you!!
Ooh mirror story! I like the way your sectioning of the story works, especially that one line-- "Harry wondered if he could simply fall through the glass, or if perhaps he already had."-- it is haunting... You've really captured the apathy and tiredness that Harry's feeling here, how distanced he's feeling from everything, too!
Author's Response: Ahhhh thank you so much!!

Thank you, an interesting take on the mirror. Was it frustration that made Harry smash it or subconsciously he didn’t want to waste away in front of it? An interesting conundrum for us.
Author's Response: I think it was desperation! Somehow in his foggy mind he came to the conclusion that perhaps if he busted the mirror he could fall into it, and if not he had a backup plan. Thank you for reading!
perfect
