Snape is right though, it's best not to put Remus in a situation where he might receive pressure to hand over Harry. I love how Snape and Harry's relationship has changed. The banter between them is cute and comfortable. Even though Snape is a hard man, it's very obvious that he's very protective over Harry, and will do what he has to do to keep him safe, even if he pisses off Harry. Great chappie. I'm disappointed in the behavior of certain members of the D.A. To decide to distrust Harry simply because he is talking civily to someone is patently ridiculous and shows a decided lack of team spirit. Harry has done so much for them and it rather disgusts me that they are so pathetically shallow. I feel that he handled the situation admirably and his choices were smart. I think that one thing was missing though. If it's a school approved club, shouldn't the Slytherins have the right to join if they want to? I'm more than a little uncomfortable with the spying plans that are being put into place. What Hermione is experimenting with is extremely dangerous and could result in her death or insanity. I do hope that she will be careful and that they will keep a close eye on her. Great chapter! Author's Response: Yes, as it is a school club, the Slytherins have the right to join. Of course, they would have to know that it exists, and then to want to join. The DA is currently practicing what in computer networking is called "security through obscurity". ;-) Going from canon, a lot of things at Hogwarts seem to work on a word-of-mouth basis. Some people are having worse reactions to Harry than they might otherwise because he seems off in a way they can't pin down.... Thanks!
I have a feeling that Harry is not going to be happy with Hermione and Ron when he finds out what they've been up to. Intrigue. Can't wait for more.
I love his sense of humour, but he's getting even more reckless, if that's possible, and now Hermione and Ron are getting suspicious. I'm so hyped with reading this story again. Onto more.

Harry HAS been acting a little snobby I guess, in their friends eyes. Poor Ron, he keeps getting told off by Harry, and has no clue why! Great chappie!
Harry is being a bit mean to Ron! I'm surprised that Ron doesn't tell him he's acting like a prat. I love Hagrid. That was so cute, him awarding points and all. It seemed as though he was really happy to do that. Great chappie, but of course you never write anything BUT. :) Author's Response: Harry's a bit jealous of Ron's other friends. He's also a little more interested in research than he used to be. ;-)
I wonder if the Potter's Will will ever be found and how might it effect things? Though, I suppose the letter sent to Harry by James could be used as proof of his intent. James intended for Harry to be his heir; at least he did once they figured out that he and Lily would never have issue anyway. I hope that the meeting with the Minister won't go awry. If the Minister is smart, he won't try to force Harry to do anything, because doing so will only earn him an enemy. Great chapter! |
